Details on exclusive content for returning GTA V-players on Xbox One

How about everyone quits complaining about things they have no control over (IE Heists etc), as well as Shark Cards (Which one is NOT required to purchase and those who do do NOT have a edge over others in being able to buy 'everything') and instead talk
about the exact topic of the thread or go and PM each other, flaming etc in private for crying outloud! Getting sick and tired of all this BS!

 

Everyone knows the economy/game was designed around Shark Cards. Mission replay was disabled, you can only favorite 1% of the missions, missions payouts were reduced and missions were redesigned. Heck even the so called "Free" DLC comes with limited time
items that R* hopes will swindle you into picking up a card.

 

That is the key right there Foregotten1, R* has everything set up for you to get frustrated enough to buy there crap cards. I hope bad 2020 and death head read that right. Legend even said it in his post that got deleted but that is the truth.

the honest truth is the game is obviously addicting considering bad 2020 has way more than just a couple million dollars and a level legitimately over 500. I myself am over 300, but I spent all my money because all the complaints I have for the game and
haven't seen a change to it, I overall just stop playing it. and my main reasons are from what legend and forgotten1 said.

1. decreasing payouts for doing missions too fast

2. forcing us to play with other people and take forever doing a mission to get the full payout,

3. having everything cost way more than it does in the campaign,

4. and one thing that I never seen anyone else say before, only having 1 life in a missions and if someone else dies, you lose it too.

5. hard missions giving low payouts.

its like they are trying to make the game as inconvenient as possible to get money.

I suppose I should even apologize bad 2020 for telling you that I hated doing missions with you that day. taking forever doing a mission is not really playing a game in my book, and just to get the full payout, I seriously don't know why you guys defend
rockstar with that crap.

 

All of you seem to fail to understand that you are NOT forced to get the Shark Cards. EVERYTHING in the game can be earned via legitimately playing the game, grinding to get the amount needed to purchase whatever you want.

Why on Earth everyone is so hung up on that, I'll never understand. If you WANT to spend real money on ingame currency, then that is up to the individual to decide on. Let me ask you this (Legend, Foregotten1 and Z4ZonE), do you feel the same way towards
the weapon/vehicle/etc shortcut packs for Battlefield 3/4? The MP store in Mass Effect 3 where you could spend points on Veteran/Spectre, Premium Spectre Packs/etc etc for buy gear for you character? Look at all the P2W MMO's where you can buy the most powerful
gear in the game for your character... at LEVEL ONE if you wanted (Star Wars The Old Republic is a prime example).

This is a unfortunate fact with games nowadays... that you will find people who spend real money for ingame currency etc...

Keep on complaining and try to force your opinion on to others. I'm sick of this crap and having to defend myself and my own opinion/point of view against the likes of yourselves (Legend, Z4ZonE and Foregotten1)... In your mind, you are all right and everyone
else is wrong. You fail to see other people's opinions or the fact that things are OPTIONAL TO PURCHASE!!!

I have over 32,000,000 and have never bought even 1 shark card. So its obviously not soooo hard that people are forced into a frustration purchase of shark cards. You want free DLC or not because without shark cards they would be gone and all DLC would cost
or they would just stop supporting the 360 version which musy be what you want to happen. Because if you arent having any fun then there is no reason for others to have theirs. Its just a game boys. Meant to be fun. I care not for these conversations that
end with abusive posts towards me for my beliefs or my opinions. Deaths Head your cool the others are becoming unbearable to even take the time to read their posts cause its just one sided nonsense. All beliefs, no facts, just delusions of grandeur that Rockstar
is *** them over and had it planned all along. I have heard conspiracy theories that are far less detailed than these threes opinions and I for one cant bear to come around here and read such nonsense for some time. Good day.

 

@Z4Z, nothing new here, a player will always be wrong because to a fanboi, if your not logging the same 15hr days like them then your doing it wrong. Just because nobody needs to buy cards does not mean that the game devs arent purposely changing the games
rules to better fit their bottom line.

 

@Foregotten1, you should hear the way he talks about his character in gta5. its as if he really does live with her in the game or something, its weird.

some people are just very thick on there pride. I just don't understand how someone could look at facts, and just because they don't agree with it, they call it delusion. well I call that denial.

Well it looks like there might be a gym coming to gta5 afterall .... and the first person thing is going to be there too, so that's 2 things that I absolutely love that could be added to the game where as the gym should have been there already but ok. and
there will be animals, but I don't really care for killing animals to be honest. I wonder what we can do with the submarine. will we see whales? or maybe im just pushing it.

 

@Death's Head: You may not be "forced" to buy shark cards, but it is EXTREMELY encouraged that you do due to the overpricing of all the new items released, plus vehicles, plus basically anything that is currently in the game. $22500 for a gold paint job?
I could go to a local paint store and get it for less than $1000. That alone shows you the main point of this game is about money, and people love to take the easy way out. What is the easiest method to obtain money fast? Buy shark cards. It's basically forcing
you mentally to buy those godawful things.

Ah, there's that word again: "griding". Am I playing a game or going to work at a job, that job of course being playing the same doggone mission over and over again just to earn a measly amount of cash when the mission payout should be much more than that.
I just took down a multinational organization's drug ring and you pay me $15,000 only? How about $50,000? Or how about I just kill you and take all your stuff, huh? Isn't that what Tony Montana did when he got tired of earning measly payouts from Frank's business?
Bottom line, increase the mission payouts and stop making it such a *** payout for accomplishing stuff that would pay much more. And don't even get me started on the AI in this game, which is another clever method R* cunningly put into GTA: O just to make
you burn more ammo and waste more money on costs.

"Shortcut DLC". I do not play Battlefield or most FPS. I prefer racing and TPS. So, I'll change this to reflect the same example but on something I can relate to. Your mentioning of shortcut DLC is similar to the Timesavers Pack of NFS games but with one
difference: Timesavers Packs allow you to access everything just by paying a good amount of real money. GTA: O Shark Cards are R* literally ripping you off! How much for $1,000,000? And I only get the money and nothing else? Hmm, that Sleeping Dogs DLC is
looking much better at this point. Bottom line, Buying Shark Cards only grants you access to the money and nothing else. Timesavers and shortcut DLC give you just about everything but within reason because of the amount of money you paid for it. If you use
a "shortcut DLC", you are either very busy and can't commit to the game like everyone else (my case), you just want everything at once, or you are lazy. Earn it like everyone else! Another reason I hate Shark Cards!

Legend I would love to see you get an entire car painted (professionally) in gold for anywhere near $1000.

Just because things are priced so that you actually have to work for it doesn't mean that its encouraging you to buy Shark Cards. Seriously every post is about Shark Cards, don't buy them and stfu already. Rockstar stated GTAV was literally going to be based
all about money. You sound like one of those conspiracy theorist. "They're forcing you to buy Shark Cards with their mind control beams." They aren't forcing you to buy anything. They aren't forcing you to do missions. No one is forcing you to do anything.
Get over the fact that they won't let you store a police car in your garage and quit rambling on about how everything leads back to Shark Cards. Smart AI = Forced Shark Cards..

I have everything I want in Online and I've never glitched/modded or bought a Shark Card. The only time I ever see anything about a Shark Card is when I make the mistake of coming here.

I think all the "rewards" for returning players look awesome. I am a little doubtful on the first person view. I've always thought it would be cool, but I feel like it would make driving harder with the aggressive AI. Shooting (assuming it was done right)
should be easier. I feel like it makes the game look.. worse though. I'm not sure if there is a choice to switch between first and third, but I really hope that its either forced first or option based lobbies. Animals in Online will be cool.

I haven't played this game in months (other than getting on to see new updates). They would definitely need to add something new and worth it before I would return. The game just doesn't interest me at the moment.

If Heists aren't released on 360/PS3 and become current gen exclusive then I won't even consider getting it for Xbox One. I know everyone is sick of hearing about Heists (I've practically forgotten all about them). It just the fact that they promised Heists
back in Spring and we haven't heard anything about it since. I won't 'rebuy' a game from a company who doesn't keep their word (or just copies and pastes yearly)..

 

@Grymm, you are missing my point about the "Gold Paintjob" entirely. Plus, I'm not asking for 24K gold. I'm talking a basic "faux" gold. I'll use the LTS gloves then. $20000+ for gloves? From my last post, I never mention that they are forcing you; "You

If they didn't want to persuade players into cards then they wouldn't have tweaked missions constantly, disable the replay button on successful missions, have a playlist function that doesn't allow you to add anything you actually like and add limited time
things in forced DLC that costs 1mil to purchase.

Its not encouraged to buy shark cards. Its an option. The payout is better now. Some missions can take 15 minutes but most are less than that. I make over 20,000 per mission. 5 missions for 100,000. If you are complaining about the prices then you just are
not trying at all. Most prices are accurate (I could care less what a gold paint job would cost in real life, my guess is a lot more than you think plus this is just a game did you forget that part). Adders are 1 million and most other car prices match. I
could go on and on about pricing of snacks, cigarettes, guns, etc. Its Just a GAME, get over it. This is how the game is. You cant change it. Wish a way at your wishing well it wont matter. Get off the game or [Mod removed] its that simple. Nobody cares anymore
and you all say the same thing everyday, beating a dead horse over and over and over again. Have you not seen that you threes constant rambling and crying has all but cleared these pages out. Instead of crying, get out there and play. Or you all could just
sit here like you have been, day in and day out having a 3 way cry session. I play a lot buy if you cut my play time in half I would still be over level 300, still have 16,000,000 and still have everything bought that I want. So perhaps its not the shark cards
and not the missions at all. Maybe it's just the three of you. I suggest you all go tomorrow and sell your game since you hate it so much and dont support Rockstar ever again but we all know that you wont sell it, and say RDR2 comes out your three pre orders
will be there. Then the cycle will start a new. You will all complain and cry again. Im glad I believe in what I believe in because I would hate to have the viewpoints of you three.

 

These forums have slowed down because R* has failed to release anything meaningful since launch. An the first few pages are filled with people who don't understand how a pre order works, why they can't play online with a silver acct and why the game runs
like garbage.

Saying that payouts are better now must imply that at 1 point they were absolutely horrendous. Which is like saying that certain people were once again right and you were once again wrong. Which would also mean you have changed your viewpoint lol...

I'll play RDR2 because I played the heck out of RDR. But lets face it, Mp was a huge big pile of you know what. An suffered from everything that was plaguing GTAV and then some, its obvious based on the two that R* didn't learn from it very well.

I wont even comment on your 15h+ a day 7 days a week comment.
