Destiny XBOX 360 Constantly Re-Installs

I just picked up a physical copy of Destiny for the XBOX 360.

The first time I went to paly the game I inserted the disc and a screen saying Installing Destiny appeared, and 5.51 GB was copied form the disc to my hard drive, and I downloaded about 1.5 GB in updates from the internet.

EVERY TIME I go to play the game again it copies 5.51 GB from the disc to my hard drive and downloads another 100-200 MB in updates from the internet.

If I view my HDD in the system settings it shows that Destiny has about 8 GB of data written to the hard drive, but I have to re-copy 5.51 GB EVERY TIME!

What is wrong with my XBOX 360, and or Destiny, or am I supposed to not launch it from the DVD anymore?

What do I have to do avoid "Installing Destiny" EVERY TIME I want to play?

Problens to install Destiny in my Xbox 360, after 100% of transfer, it start a looping WO conclution.

I have 200GB free at HD

I re-instaled the game many times, clear the cash memory, install external HD, but WO success.

Someone have a tip?

re-Installing Destiny for ea Play?

Nuby here. Finally got Destiny installed for the first time. How do I avoid having to "re install" each time. XBox 360.

Using a disc. It takes to long ,so must be another way, HELP p[lease.

Typically clearing the system cache on your 360 fixes this problem, see below for the steps to clear the cache. For whatever reason sometimes it takes 2 or 3 times clearing it to resolve though so repeat these steps a few times.

1.) Navigate to Home > Settings > System Settings > Storage

2.) Highlight the storage device and press Y for 'Device Opions'

3.) Select 'Clear System Cache'

I'm going to go clear the system cache now and see if it works. It's going to take at least an hour if I have to re-download all the stuff 2 or 3 times. Hope I don't *crosses fingers*

 

Absolutely worked!

Cleared system cache, rebooted, cleared system cache and rebooted again just to be safe, started destiny, it downloaded a 3MB patch, and PRESTO destiny didn't re-install, just went straight to game as it should.
