    Destiny won't launch (period)


    Hi,

    When I turn on my xbox one and go to load destiny, it shows the searching/connecting symbol on the bottom right indefinitely. The game never comes on. I've played multiple times before, and now it won't work at all. How can i take steps to remedy this?
    I have a gold membership, ethernet connection, etc. Everything else works...

    Destiny 2 in the works

    I believe the plan was for four games over a 10 year period. I'd be surprised if there wasn't another in the series in 2016.

    If you don't like Destiny, that's fine. There are 9+ million who consistently do and 735 million reasons for Activision to be happy about Destiny's launch so far.

    What's your opinion on the X1 exclusive games line-up?

    I'm more interested in post-launch, specifically Titanfall and Destiny (even though Destiny isn't exclusive.)

    At launch, I'll be playing BF4, Ryse and Forza.

    Have you tried uninstall the game, and then reinstall the game? You could also clear the persistent storage, and perform a hard reset on the console. If all else fails, you might just need to reset your console back to factory defaults.

    No matchmaking in Destiny!

    They could but they won't. It's a design decision to not add matchmaking to raids. I recall reading something like that when Destiny was close to launching.
