Destiny will not update

I finished downloading Destiny on the One(had it on 360) and whenever the update screen pops up, it instantly switches to the "There was a problem with the update" page.

I am having the same problem on my xbox one destiny wont update

 

Sorry to hear it guys. Can you both head to Settings>Disc & Blu Ray and click Clear Persistent Storage then hold the power button on your consoles for 10 seconds until they shut down.

Hopefully that will solve the issue.

I'm having the same problem, I've just cleared persistent storage but still no joy (thanks anyway onyx62is). Has anyone managed to get Destiny to work after update from 360 to one?

 

One other thing I can suggest is to power cycle the console again but this time when it is off unplug everything and let it sit for 5 minutes.

During that time power cycle your modem/routers as well so everything is fresh when you start up again.

 

I've tried shutting down, unplugging, reseting my modem and router, and I still cannot get the update and play Destiny. Kinda frustrating, I spend a few hours last night trying to get it to work.

I have this problem on 360. Before starting game says downloading update, but then either freezes up or after almost full green bar sitting for couple minutes says my network has issues (checked - no issues). Rebooted, power cycled both modem and Xbox, cleared
system cache. Still gives me same error with Status Code :417F-0000-D080-0200-8015-000A. Nothing in "support" section with that code. Wasted 2 hours now. Wonder if I wasted the money I spent on a game. Yet to play it.

Exactly the same problem as Clueless. Now I am getting a Code: 807B01F7 error when signing into Live. Destiny problem or is it Live? Anyone that comes up with an answer, please post.

Thanks Onyx. That's not the problem. I am trying to download a 3mb published update. It stalls around 99%. Live connectivity is fine. Cache cleared, multiple times. Gamertag is fine, it works.

I'm not sure I'm comfortable removing the hard drive from my xbox slim.

Don't know why but after two weeks of dicking around it is working today???? Nothing extraordinary tried today...... same for others?
