Low impact and high fire rate to compensate, both guns are good guns, and certainly equal at worst to your gun and will beat it easily with any enemy with the right shield, and on anything with the right burn will decimate your gun.

I'm looking forward to the public events the most I have to admit. I love the way they work and I love the team work aspect to them. I just cant wait to come across some huge mammoth sized bad guy that will take ages to take down.

I want to apologize to you all because I don't want the Gjallahorn, Black Hammer, and Elemental Primaries. This is how I honestly feel about them.

Please understand that it isn't my intention to be mean / rude in the following statement and if it comes across as being mean / rude, please forgive me

I feel as if the Elemental Primaries, Black Hammer, and Gjallahorn have a " choke hold " because everything that is compared against them is deemed to be complete and total garbage.

Based strictly on the terms that you need an Elemental Primay, Black Hammer, and Gjallahorn; I have made the following assesment.

It is absolutely impossible to complete the more difficult challenges of the game if you use a non-elemental primary, appropriate element special, and appropriate element heavy.

as long as you are aware that the badger is a garbage weapon, in both PvE and PvP then thats ok You play how you want to, just dont complain that you cant do things when its only you that is causing that issue

Its not impossible at all, i've run through crota using the kvostov (starting auto rifle) but it is definitely going to hold you back not using the relevant weapons for the job. I just want to know why you are so reluctant to try new things and are stuck
in your ways - Ice Breaker being the prime example, Black Hammer is just better than it all round but you refuse to acknowledge that, why?

You have a chance of rolling them with intellect but you dont get a choice.. its all RNG.. you may get a weapon, you may get an armour piece.. it may have strength, it may have intellect or discipline.. its all random

 

@Lei, I am not mad or upset with you, but your disregarding even the chance to try different weapons, and setups, I could understand that if you had tried the gear you have received but not levelling the up and not trying is a real shame IMO.

IMO the black hammer is on a par with the IB, and her benevolence, but they are all situational, i use them all I also use the spear and the chosen, among many shot guns, side arms and even the odd fusion rifle.

And I am not going to try and convince you any more. (One not it seems that bungie are trying to change the way you level gear so your setup might become less usefull in TTK)

Black Hammer = Garbage because you need to land " 3 " precision hits in a row to get free ammo.

Ice Breaker = Amazing because you will always get ammo whether or not you hit or miss.

In regards to my Badger CCL being garbage, the Mida Multi-Tool is truly a pathetic scout rifle in my opinion because of its low impact and short range. The entire point of a scout rifle is to be able to use it at long range. The Mida Muti-Tool forces
the user to enter Auto Rifle range.

My garbage Badger CCL will inflict WAY more damage with 21 hits than the Mida Multi-Tool with 21 hits.

I understand why having an Elemental Primary is important.

But that is only situational due to the fact that you need to be fighting shielded enemies and a burn effect has to be active in order for them (the Elemental Primary that you're talking about) to decimate my garbage Badger CCL.

How about encounters against non-shielded enemies? The weapons that you're talking about is going to hit the enemies with the force of a cotton ball.

Yes, the Elemental Primaries that you're talking about will annihilate my garbage Badger CCL under the right conditions.

So I can't use my Elemental Special and Elemental Heavy to compensate for the lack of an Elemental Primary?

In regards to the " almighty Gjallahorn ", I understand that Bungie / Activision wanted this to be the most powerful rocket launcher in the game and I don't have a problem with that.

What I have a problem with is the fact that the " almighty Gjallahorn " has clearly been designed to handle EVERY SINGLE DIFFICULT ENCOUNTER in the game.

With that being said, if a weapon is capable of handling EVERY SINGLE DIFFICULT ENCOUNTER in the game, then this weapon is...

The " almighty Gjallahorn " negates the damage resistance of Arc and Void shields. Thus, the " almighty Gjallahorn " really is a Solar Arc Void rocket launcher.

@Lei the fact is you have no idea what those weapons are like because you haven't tried them, I was under the impression you didn't like/want to be carried, next time you do a group activity look at the kills at the end, if your less than 60% of everyone
else your being carried, most of that is down to your setup.

Actually bungie don't want the G to be what it is which is why they are nerfing it.

Here are the results of a level 28 Prison Of Elders run

Me = 82 kills 4 deaths 20.5 KD Badger CCL, Ice Breaker, and The Dreamwaker (solar)

Player B = 117 kills 5 deaths 23.5 KD Abyss Defiant, Found Verdict, and Thunderlord

Player C = 210 kills 3 deaths 70.0 KD Vision Of Conflluence, Black Hammer, and Gjallahorn

..........

Player B has 30% more kills than me.

Player C has 257% more kills than me.

..........

3 rounds was against the Hive, 1 against the Cabal, and 1 against the Fallen. The boss was a giant Hive knight.

..........

Player C clearly had the upper hand here because of their load out.

Player B's shotgun and machine gun allows them to kill enemies faster than me.

..........

I admit, my team mates have better weapons than me but at the same time I am not completely useless to my group.

With that being said, I am disappointed that I wasn't able to get at least 100 kills total but at the same time I love my loadout of my Badger CCL, Ice Breaker, and The Dreamwaker (solar).

Having fun is more important to me and if this means that I will be at the bottom of the leaderboards in terms of kills every single time; then so be it.

Furthermore, I am not that good at FPS games so it is no surprise that this adds up too.
