Destiny Vehicles...Over Powered? or Horribly Over Powered?

Got a bit of hands on time in with the Alpha this last week, and I have to say, the game seems great and it has SO much potential.

That said....the freaking Moon map in match making was AWFUL.

I take that back...it was fun for the 1 minute in between the time when all the vehicles had been destroyed and had not yet respawned..

The turret was also horribly over powered. Not so much in that they (weapons, turrets) do TONS of damage very quickly, but mostly that they are near impossible to combat...unless of course you have a vehicle of your own..

Those games were simply not fun, i found myself leaving those matches immediately as i had no motivation to kill (no satisfaction out of mowing people over for 10 minutes straight) or be killed over and over and over and over by a giant rocket blast being
shot from a chopper. There is no way to combat these things...grenades do essentially nothing, and you cant even snipe people out of some of the seats, they are completely protected...like what was Bungie thinking?

Did Bungie forget about the sticky grenade? The great vehicle equilizer? Something needs to be done to add balance to vehicles....make them less strong, or make them easier to take down. Maybe give them their own game mode...

PLEASE do not taint this game by making the competitive match making into a vehicle-fest battle field 4 style cluster F**k.

I promise you, this is not what the bungie/competitive multiplayer fans are looking for.

Snipers: Hide in a bush, but if you aren't near the top of the scoreboard you're doing it wrong

Snipers dont bother me, too many other things people do in this game bother me.

people fighting over the bomber

people taking vehicles and bailing out and not using them (taking planes is really bad)

people who dont drop ammo or healh or repair your vehicle even though you are right next to them and asking over and over again

people who give your position away

people who steal your vehicle as you are repairing it

etc, the list goes on and on
