Destiny Updates? Why so often?

These past 3 days, when I log in to Destiny, my Xbox one goes to an update screen. The updates are always the same length 76.87, is there something wrong, or is this normal?

Destiny Why

I called Microsoft today after figuring out it was a lisencing issue. It turns out despite having a transaction code and a proof of purchase I will not be receiving a the lisence for Destiny the Collection or a refund. Feeling very cheated, not going to
do online transactions anymore, re-thinking if I will be buying into Xbox anymore...

 

Destiny Why

Alright here is my issue. I got an new Xbox 1 (X) and I downloaded all the games I owned onto it. However, it didn’t download any of my DLC’s. I couldn’t figure out why I could play Premium Weapons on Battlefield 1 until I re-installed the DLC’s (it was
a very long, frustrating week). So I have the same issue with Destiny. I own and have proof of purchase of the game and it’s DLC’s and I don’t have the DLC’s and I think that the game thinks I don’t own it. Either way, how do I download the DLC’s? With BF1
you can download them separately but with Destiny it’s on a bundle. More importantly the only DLC I could individual download says I don’t own it! I love Destiny but if I can’t get this figured out I’ll just stop playing it. It shouldn’t be this hard to enjoy
my games.

 

Pretty sure something is wrong, I get the same problem sometimes but never bothered to look for a fix.
