Destiny updates of 75mb???

Hey everyone,

I started playing Destiny again last week and keep getting an error message that says Destiny server not available.

After trying restarting the console and starting another app it opens destiny and begins a 75mb update.

Since last week I've had 3 small updates after this error.

A hard reset, and closing the app create a temp fix but this comes back every 2-3 days.

Are re you all getting these updates too?

Inexplicably spotty Live connection

Yeah I'm using the disc version of the game, but the one thing I haven't had any issues with is downloads. The first-run system update, controller update, Destiny update, and Destiny Vanguard Armory DLC all downloaded fine.

I'll definitely post in here if I solve my problems.

I ended up reinstalling the whole game and DLC yesterday, I think just installing the DLC might of been enough, anyway its fixed hope that helps mate.

I just loaded the game and that update is back ,I know it started just before the last DLC I think there was a small update to prepare for it.

What is your bandwidth like? Some games have different size updates.. forza was HUGE. Mine took like 20 minutes, but I have a 75Mb pipe.

I tried sky drive yesterday but found playing back the video on XB1 was a bit choppy, despite having a 75Mbs connection.

Destiny updates of 75mb???
