Error 87E0000F occurs when downloading a game or app on Xbox One

You see the following error code when you try to download and install a game or app through Xbox Live to your Xbox One console:

Solution

Solution 1: Restart the download

To resolve this issue, try restarting the download:

1. From the Home screen, select My games & apps.
2. Select Queue from the options on the left side.
3. Highlight the game or app you are trying to download, and then press the Menu button on your controller.
   
4. Select Resume Installation.

Solution 2: Try to install the game later

Cancel the installation and try again after a couple of hours. The server may currently be too busy or having connection issues.

Has anyone found a fix for this problem?

My destiny has been fine since my first time playing on it and today their has been an update on destiny and since the update i get the error message "Problem reading game content. Please close and restart Destiny to try again." followed by the disk is
unreadable.

I have uninstalled, re-installed with no luck, I deleted the update and re downloading still no luck... and I'm very infuriated by this, how its supposed to be an update to make everything smoother yet it screws up my whole game so i cant get on it at all
now.

please someone help me solve this problem or someone please get onto bungie and explain their latest update has *** up everything.

Oh I feel all your pain, but I believe I have figured out how to fix the beagle error (no thanks to bungie or microsoft). I've completed all the Venus missions now (previously I was getting the same issue on the 1st Venus mission).

When you download the game content to install, it's about 15GB, however there is also a smaller 'update' that needs to be installed of size around 15MB (I think from memory). The timing of when each of these components is installed is VERY important.

The key here is not to 'open' destiny until the game has installed at 100%, do NOT open destiny after about 2% (when xbox1 tells you it is ready) as when you open the game, you'll be forced to install the update at that time (when less than 100% of destiny
installation progress). I think there's some issue applying the update before the game has been installed.

Therefore here is your happy path;

1. Delete installation of Destiny

2. Install Destiny; DO NOT OPEN THE GAME BEFORE FULLY INSTALLED AT 100%. Stay on the xbox1 menu.

3. Open destiny once the game has fully installed, you'll be prompted for the smaller update.

4. Enjoy visiting Venus!
