Destiny Update Fails

"There was a problem with the update"...anyone having luck with their initial install?

So is Warframe going to damage Destiny

Fanboys will be fanboys and Destiny will sell by the lorry load, but by rights, Destiny should really fail due to its very lacklustre beta.

I'm having the exact same problem. I've tried everything. Power cycle, uninstall, offline install, wireless and wired, mobile tether. No luck at all?

The screen says:

"There was a problem with the update

Destiny needs to update, but something went wrong. For help, visit ***Xbox support page***"

Any help would be appreciated. I'm from Sydney Australia.

 

My wife is having this same error message on her xBox One in Seattle, Washington, after two days of trying.

 

This happened to me a week ago. Took 1.5 hours of retrying, powering down, hard reset. Got it to update then had multiple disconnects. May have been those lizard guys.

 

having the same issue no response from bungie any one have any thoughts

 

Hi guys, I was having this issue also but with diablo 3, I realised I had to update my xbox one, when I did that I was able to install the update for that game so I would assume the same would work for destiny.

 

Just to update the thread. This was a once off incident and I haven't had an issue since.
