Destiny Trial version from Xbox Store

So, I downloaded the try before you buy version of Destiny from Xbox Live.

After four hours of downloading, I go to start the game and all I get is:

TRIAL EXPIRED

WHAT IS UP WITH THAT???

Destiny Stuck in trial mode

I got the trial version of destiny on the Xbox one. Later, I purchased The Taken king Legendary Edition of Destiny. When I launched the game, I found that I was still in trial mode. I contacted Bungie seeking help. I cleared the cache on my Xbox (by unplugging
for a few minutes) and restored my license by downloading again. I launched the game, and I had the same result. I request some help with troubleshooting with my license for the game.

Note: all purchases of destiny were from the Xbox store

 

Destiny stuck in trial mode

Sometimes the game might show as Trial in the Store because you got the trial from the store but then bought the disc. Is your son able to pass level 7 in Destiny? If yes, then the game is not in trial mode anymore.

 

Same thing has happened to me.

 

The good folks over at Destiny told me to delete and download it again. I had choice words, but decided to hold my tongue.

I do not believe there is a trial version. Just another marketing trick they are using.

Trial expired and Something else I failed to mention.

Another message that is displayed is:

Installation is almost done

If you have a game disc, insert it now. Otherwise, make sure the person who bought this is signed in to Xbox Live, then choose Finish.

1) Why would a game download require a disc?

2) I am signed into Xbox Live;

Any answer?

 

You cannot download again!

The Message Still appears as trial expired

 

My issue was exactly like "ppiiaa" listed....i waited all morning for the download... @ 99% x1 notified me that the download stopped.

After uninstalling... the option to download "try" is grayed out and now says trial expired.

I have resisted on buying games that are new... it seems that the manufacturers have forgot the value of providing demos for their products.....I will not buy any new game that I am not familiar with without knowing what I am getting first.

The video game industry needs regulation when it comes to advertisements..... think about any phone game... they have these amazing 3d graphics videos to bring you in only to find it is a platformer or worse a top down. If you advertise wonderful 3d graphics
all wonderfully polished then that is what you should provide...... sorry for getting off topic

 

Same problem here. After hours downloading the download won't finished and i get a "trial expired"

Same thing just happened to me. I waited forever to get the 20GB download. It said 100% downloaded but still showed up in the download queue. If I tried to play it said to put in the disk or to sign in with the account that purchased the game, I only have
one account on my ONE and I was logged in with it. If I went into the queue and chose continue download it said "Download Stopped" I rebooted my ONE and still no success. So I uninstalled and went to go download again. But now it says trial expired.

 

Happened to me too. Same log in with account same add disk and same delete and try to install but option grayed out and trial expired message.

 

The same here... did you guys try with a different account? I'm planning to do that
