    Destiny transferring game content problem


    This I tried to move my destiny content from the harddrive to a thumb drive. That is when i first encounter the problem. The problem was that the transferring content would not install. It would get to like 10% and restart. So i switched destiny back to
    the harddrive. Then it happen again. I pretty much cleared my cache 100 times and even deleted and reinstalled the game. My disk isn't scratched so i have no clue what the problem is.

    Destiny froze while transferring game content from 360 to One

    Had Destiny on 360. Got Xbox One S and purchased new Destiny Collection. I've been attempting to play for two days but it keeps saying "transferring game content" and it never reaches 100%

    Been on this screen for hours. I am using the same disc I purchased at the store. I am simply moving from an old Elite model to a slim model. It has downloaded everything but the game content. It keeps cycling itself. It will reach between 25-36% and then
    it starts over. I have deleted the entire files, I have reset the cache. It's not letting go

    I'm into the game now at least where it says it is installing Destiny and transferring game content and I am at 4% but have been there for a while now so time will tell I guess.

    Built in Hard Drive or is it a 4GB slim + 250 HD? My 4gb Slim + 250 gave us so much trouble we took the disc back and got a digital copy. Make sure you have more than 30 GB avail, I'm pretty sure it only calls for 20, but make a little extra space.

    Is Microsoft (or the account owner) capable of doing a precision license transfer?

    When doing a license transfer to another console you have no choice as to what is or is not moved.

    With that being said (and I can't guarantee this has not been changed) when I had a second console in my house I did a license transfer to the family console. Only licenses for content that I redownloaded after the transfer were transferred.

    Say for instance you have CoD: AW and Destiny but only want to move the license for Destiny. Do the license transfer and then download Destiny.

    If nothing has been changed anyone will be able to play CoD on the first console and anyone can play Destiny on the second console. But, as I said, I can't guarantee that will work anymore as it's been quite a few years since I needed to do a license transfer
    to a separate console.

    Have you tried doing yet another transfer? Also, I've had an issue almost like that in the past. The way I fixed this issue was by deleting the content off the console and re-downloading it. Now said items work again with no problem online or offline.

    Sounds like you may have used a third party transfer cable which would cause issues like this. Unfortunately there's nothing that can be done.
