Destiny Thoughts So Far...

Hey guys, Ambassador Lifeslayer here! I wanted to make a post to ask a little on peoples' opinions on the game Destiny. There has been much online controversy and I wanted to know where everyone else was in the community in terms of how they think about
it. I feel like some of the content should not have been cut and the advertising of the game was very sloppy. As to going to the extreme and not buying any of the DLC..... I'm not to sure about that. It may work, but it may not. Just wanted to know where everyone
else was based on some crazy speculations. The one thing I am really upset about is the fact that Destiny did not have player trading. I feel like this would be in the game, looking back on E3. Does anyone remember when they played the game at E3? When they
were looking at the Hunter Class armor, they were talking about ways to get the armor. "could have bought it or got it from trade". I thought this was interesting, as well as the Reef playable area preview and some cut planets. Just let me know down below
what you think!

No offense, but if you don't like the gamemode we currently have then Ghost Recon is probably not for you. GR is highly focused on teamwork and tactics; always has been. If you just want to run around and shoot people, not play for objectives, than go play
CoD or Halo.

Also I find the weapons very effective. The Assault rifles usually kill in 2 bursts or less(6-10rds) and any headshot is a one hit kill.

You are not understanding me. I like objective game modes, I just dont like this mode. It does not feel right and it's not enjoyable. I hate how some objectives are really close to the enemy spawn.

 

Thoughts so far?

Liking it very much. Having to learn how to play GR again. Think they could nerf the shotguns a bit. Other than that, for a beta it is well done.

 

My biggest Digital game regret and I didnt even pay for the game. Excellent gameplay very poor everything else. Lack of content, to much grinding for little reward, lack of content, only 3 player co-op, lack of content, no real reason for the game being
always online, lack of content, terribly unbalanced MP and did I mention lack of content?

I quit playing after me and a friend did 5 strike missions one day, and they were all the exact same strike. Bungie *** up, or Activision did. Whoever is at fault it doesn't matter to me as Destiny 2 wont ever be downloaded to my console even if its free.

 

What...

I have to make an effort to achieve in this game?

It doesn't simply hand everyting to on a plate like "Call Of Duty"?

Oh the humanity.

 

Oh so you dont have to put effort into COD to get weapons? Or camos? Get real. You are always so blinded by games you like that you never see any fault in them.

 

Lack of content sums it up for me as well. I got to light level 29 and it just wasn't fun anymore. I had a blast getting there though and I don't mind "making an effort" in games for rewards but when it becomes repetitive and not fun, I will have no desire
to continue playing it. On top of that the multiplayer modes were disappointing and could of really used some better maps; I traded it in for $32 a while ago.

 

If "Destiny" is the only game you own... then I can see working to buff your character getting to be a bit of a chore.

But as part of a balanced gaming diet the game is great. You have incentive to push yourself and your mates further.

You've missed out on the Iron Banner and Queens Guard missions and you'll miss out on the DLC in a couple of week's time.

Great game that keeps on giving long after other games would have fallen flat.
