When you turn on your Xbox 360 log in as normal. You will recurve an emblem after you pick your character. Go to the map and giver over the TTK cinematic icon. From there you have the option of buying the stand alone out the collectors. Stand alone is $39.99
and is for Guardians that have purchased the TWO previous DLC's

Start up the game select the first mission and a prompt will pop up to ask you to buy the dlc

On the 360, you have to get ingame, and go to Choose Destination. Select the Taken King logo on the map, and it gives you the digital download options for just the $40 Taken King and the $20 bonus pack.

It was there for down load when i signed in and clicked on pick destination.. the first screen bottom left i hovered over the icons and it says this content is locked.. purchase the taken king.. i bought it and it unlocked the content almost immediately
after purchase.. game on!

I also have been unable to find the standalone taken king for 360. Nowhere to be found on marketplace. If you go to the destiny site to order that way and after. Putting in im ordering for 360 and hitting the link it takes me to the xbox one order page with
no option for 360. I keep seeing its availible to purchase "in game" for those who have the two expansions but where "in game" do i do that?

Hey, guys! This should be available now. You will want to follow the instructions that Fir3 Chas3r posted, but here it is quoted for you in case you do not want to sift through all of the posts in here:

To make things clear, you need the base game and both dlcs to be able to purchase The Taken King separately for $40. If you do not already have the base game or both DLCs with it, you will need to purchase one of the bundles that
are available.

If you have issues accessing this content after purchasing, please create a new thread. Because this one is resolved, we're going to lock it down. Thanks for understanding!

Normally you can download the game early but wont be able to play it until the release date. Most of the time, the game will be available to play at midnight your time zone, but it there are no guarantee's that it will be available at 12a.m. your time. Follow
these steps to download the game:

Once purchase is complete, download this content by selecting the “Manage” button on the product details page on your console.

I actually have both a 360 and a One. I bought the One version so I'm curious if I have to buy the 360 version as well?

I'm with those who have said this question is not being answered. Let me lay it out simple.

The Game has a core version and two current DLC's. The new, 3rd, DLC launches tomorrow.

According the Bungie, this DLC is available to preorder as a digital download here and now. The Xbox store further proves this is true for Xbox One users.

The gig is supposed to be that if someone owned the DLC 1 and 2, you could preorder the digital download for $40.00. Again, go look at the store and you'll see you can for the Xbox One. Why are 360 users getting shafted?
