Destiny The Taken King digital download

i actually bought it the on tuesday when it was listed. i jumped right on that. and yes, i have the game and the expansions. but like the OP says, it's nowhere to be found other than a small file on my hard drive and it listed in several places on my
account that i bought it. i'm not completely worried, but it is a little odd that it was there and then pulled. i can't be the only person to have paid for it that day.

I Paid for Content and Now it is Gone

So just a few days ago I bought Destiny: The Taken King - Legendary Edition for $30.00 USD in the Xbox Live Store because it was on sale for Gold Members. That bundle includes Destiny, Destiny: The Taken King, and Destiny: The Taken King -
Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade. I was able to download everything. However in game my Destiny: The Taken King - Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade content did not show up. So I quit and closed the game completely and went into manage game and uninstalled
it. I then reinstalled the Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade content and restarted my game. It did not appear again so I quit and completely closed the game. But when I uninstalled it and to try again my Destiny: The Taken King - Digital Collector's Edition
Upgrade did not appear in the add-on to download section like it normally does. So can someone help me figure out what went wrong? I paid for this add I want my content back. I am writing on the Destiny forums about the content not appearing but can someone
tell me why I cannot see or re-download the Destiny: The Taken King - Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade content. Thank you!

Actually it's now January and I am still having issues buying just the game. I don't get it. I have a gold account. Not sure what the deal is but it seems to be locked down pretty tight, buy the whole thing again or sorry... And yes I did watch the trailer...
still no dice... Do you have more current advice? I've been trying on and off again all weekend and if there were a server outage that was getting in the way of people spending money I would think you'd have it fixed by now, weekend or not.

 

It's currently available for the XboxOne but not the 360? What gives?

I wonder why the page was remove or it could have been a bug as it wasn't suppose to show up yet or something, but it clearly shows that it was release on Sept. 1 even the other versions; Collector and Legendary Edition was also release on those exact date;
Sept 1. 2015. Don't bother trying to buy it because it going to send you to a page where the content doesn't exist because it was remove or move to a new page. This is the page if you try to buy it:

Those two have similar URL but they are the same nonetheless. Regardless, it shouldn't be a concern but it was there though, but it could have been a glitch/bug but who knows.

hi Misses Quinzel, i am pretty sure everyone here is talking about the $40USD digital version of just The Taken King. not the legendary ed. or any collector edition. thanks for the link though, but let me ask if you can tell me what's going on with this
$40 version being pulled. as i posted a bit earlier, i paid for it as soon as i saw it. then it was yanked. i've since found out that my purchase didn't count as a pre-order since i haven't received any of the in game content other people who pre-ordered
have received already. that's fine. i just want to know for certain that my purchase counted, since i've been charged for it. any info would be fantastic.

 

Hey Whiskey, no one has received any in game content other than was has been provided in the update that was released on Tuesday. If you did have a chance to purchase the DLC then you're lucky. You should double check commerce.microsoft.com to ensure the
purchase went through though to ensure you do not double buy it when it is properly released.

 

Thanks for the clarification, Whiskey! Reading back, I can see how I have gotten confused, and what you guys are asking for. I have no information on that at this time, but let me do a little digging to see what I can come up with.

 

Alright, guys! After a bit of digging, looks like this is intentional right now. There is no ability to pre-order content on the Xbox 360 at this time, and the stand-alone Taken King content is not released. The content within the Legendary and Collector's
edition is currently released because the base game and DLC is all released, minus the full content for The Taken King.

If it becomes the 15th and The Taken King isn't available in its US$40 stand-alone edition, please let us know. At this time, it is intentional that you cannot pre-order the new content.

 

I have friends tat have pre-ordered the digital download for 360 and received the emblem and shader already. People have told me it will not be available at or that if you buy it on the 15th as long as you buy it before the 16th that you still get the suros
arsenal pack and the armor shader and emblem is this ture? Please answer soon

 

hi Onyx, i actually have seen people getting their shaders and emblems early. no weapon packs have been given out though. my guess is that's because it's locked as is all of the content with TTK. no one should have been getting that stuff yet, according
to something i read somewhere from Bungie. i also checked my account the second the DLC was removed from the marketplace. it shows my purchase and i double checked my paypal and it was charged to my account there as well.

Misses Quinzel, thanks for looking into it. my only concern was that my purchase will be recognized on the 15th and i won't have to purchase it again.

So I've heard as well. The general consensus here is that those were received early as part of the Legendary pack although I'm not sure why.

 

Why are we being punished for playing the 360?? I am sure that everyone agrees that this is BS.

Is Xbox just trying to push us toward the PlayStation? As it is not looking far away at this point.

So much for the last 7 years!!!!!!
