Destiny: The Complete Collection - DLC issues

I bought my buddy a digital copy of Destiny: The Complete Collection and the DLC is installed but can not be accessed in game.

I was on My xbox with his profile, my profile was signed out.

I bought the game using his profile.

He got home installed all of it and he noticed that he could not use the emote "hammer time"

He then realized that he could not do anything in game related to either DLC: TTK and ROI

My buddy has uninstalled/reinstalled 3 times and can still not access the DLC content.

We have made sure that under the "Ready to Install" everything is installed

rise of iron

To re-evaluate what I meant is, I bought the destiny game title (when it first released). Bought the DLC on the Xbox console without issues.

But now cannot buy the standalone dlc for RoI and have to buy the collection on the store for $60. No thanks.

Rise of Iron DLC Issue

Purchased destiny collection with dlc 1 and 2 then got the taken king dlc. link still says unavailable and any other search comes up rise of iron part of a bundle for the collection. if i have the collection isnt this part of the bundle but still cant access
it.

If he purchased the content with his account, he would need to designate your Xbox as his Home console. Doing so will:

Share games and downloadable content purchased from the Store with anyone else who signs in on your console. You can even share games downloaded as part of a subscription.

Share your Xbox Live Gold subscription with anyone else who signs in on your console.

To make the Xbox a home console:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Settings.

Select All Settings.

Select Personalization.

Select My home Xbox.

Review the information, and then do one of the following:

Select Make this my home Xbox to designate the console as your home Xbox.

Select This is not my home Xbox to remove the designation.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble. Any extra in game content can be picked up at the postmaster on the tower. As for the content he cannot access, if he has not played the game before and has not built up his character then he will need to complete the
story missions in order to unlock the extra DLC to play it. Hop on with him and help him bring his character up.

Your best bet would have been to purchase The Destiny 2 Forsaken complete collection, yeah it comes with Destiny 2 full game, but comes with all dlc too, and the price has been knocked down by 60%. Here is the link

When the new DLC is coming out they bundle all the old DLC togethor and offer it at a discount. The one you need is this one

Has others have said the annual pass is just DLC for forsaken it doesnt include forsaken and forsaken is needed too play it. If you purachsedthat you would then have forsaken and can then use the DLC
