    Destiny: The Collection Upgrade


    Greetings.

    I have a problem upgrading. I bought Destiny (Digital), DLC 1-2 and The Taken King on my 360. I am trying to buy Destiny the Collection (Xone) Upgrade, because it is for thos who upgrade from Xbox 360 TTK to Xbox One Rise of Iron, but it wont let me. I checked
    on Xbox.com now the DLCs for Destiny (360) nd it wants to charge me again for The taken King, which I already own.

    Did I miss something here or is it clearly a mistake made by Microsoft?

    Uh oh... that shouldn't have happened.

    It looks like the Upgrade link in that post is wrong, though-- it just links to the non-Upgrade product listing again. (I just PM'd the author.) This looks like the correct item, but I don't own Destiny so I can't confirm pricing or availability:

    Sorry to hear it. As you can see by the link below the upgrade does say coming soon.

    There doesn't seem to be anything posted as to why it's not available at the moment. Perhaps you could try contacting Bungie support for further assistance on that.

    Okay guys, I found the information from Bungie and they say that players who own Destiny: The Taken King on their xbox360 can upgrade their Destiny content, to Xbox One by purchasing Destiny - The Collection Upgrade.

    It is only available for digital purchase and players must upgrade within the same console family (that means going from xbox360 to Xbox One). You also need the Xbox Gamertag that owned the content on the xbox360.

    If you have then go to the xbox store and search for Destiny The collection upgrade. Scroll down to the games section and click on Destiny The collection upgrade (it will say bundle underneath it).

    Look in the top right hand corner of the page and sign in.

    Look at the grey box where it said "coming soon", it should now show you the amount that it will cost to purchase it.

    From there you just need to click it and buy it.

    Hey guys,

    It sounds like a few people are having similar issues with this. The Destiny: The Collection Upgrade (as opposed to the alternative Destiny: The Collection entire package) is only for those moving from legacy consoles, as has been said, and should be made
    available soon if what Bungie has said is true.

    Now, what I'm not sure if you guys have done is import your Xbox 360 Destiny accounts forward to your new consoles? I believe it is this process that makes the Destiny: The Collection Upgrade available to you, and the information for this is available here:

    This will allow you to bring all of your account content forward from legacy consoles, and make the Upgrade available. Alternatively, if you do this account import then you also have the option to purchase the Destiny: Rise of Iron expansion separately for
    the same price as the discounted Destiny: The Collection Upgrade deal.

    Sorry to hear about the issue. Could you guys advise what region you are physically located in? And are you trying to buy Destiny: The Collection or Destiny: The Collection upgrade? If it's the upgrade, do you own The Taken King on Xbox 360 or Xbox One?
