"Destiny The Collection - Upgrade" Woes

I was still on the fence about getting an Xbox One. I know it has been two years since the console released,(that fence is thick and sturdy) but I finally decided to upgrade when I saw a way that I could get one of the only games I play on the Xbox 360 at
a discounted price for Xbox One. So I picked up an Xbox One, and it is quite nice, I actually like how the layout is slightly reminiscent of a Windows 8 OS. However my only real complaint is that when I try and purchase the game bundle that finally got me
to make the jump from 360 to One, I get a grayed out box that says "Coming Soon." I have been checking to see if anything has changed the past few days but it still says "Coming Soon", and it won't be released until September 19 at 8:00 PM. When it says
in its description that you can download all of the released content after purchasing the bundle and "play immediately". However the version of this bundle that has no discount for returning players from a Legacy console that are up to date on their dlc content
licenses, is available for purchase right now.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there a form I have to fill out or something? I thought that to be eligible for the discounted bundle I just needed to have all of the dlc content that has since been released on the last console generation. I have the licenses
for the dlc, I can see the transactions in my Xbox purchase history, however it does not seem that I qualify, unless there is some kind of technical error I do not know about.

I would appreciate any and all support that could assist me in actually purchasing this item.

How to upgrade Destiny Content to Xbox One

There is a sticky post in another forum mentioning an Upgrade available to users who own the 360 content.

Uh oh... that shouldn't have happened.

It looks like the Upgrade link in that post is wrong, though-- it just links to the non-Upgrade product listing again. (I just PM'd the author.) This looks like the correct item, but I don't own Destiny so I can't confirm pricing or availability:

Won't let me pre order the destiny collection upgrade on xbox store says coming soon?

 

I've checked the website and see that it is listed as coming soon. I'm not sure why. You can read the FAQ for upgrading at the link below. In the meantime I would suggest contacting Bungie to see if there is still a wait on that upgrade option or if it
should be live now. Please be sure to post back here with their reply so we know for future reference.

I bought the destiny ghost edition, which came with the season pass and I bought taken king on xbox when it came out. I have all the DLC content on the xbox 360. Like everyone has said before, I try to purchase the Destiny collection upgrade, and it says
coming soon. Even though in the description is saying you can start playing destiny "today" meaning you can purchase the collection upgrade and play all the DLC on destiny on the xbox one right now and obviously get the Rise of Iron when it releases. I've
been looking at this for weeks and its been the same. Very disappointing, I've put a lot of money into this game (Destiny is a good game, but my expectations weren't met and was not worth buying the $150 ghost edition). If I can't get the $40 price point for
the upgrade, I'm done with destiny until destiny 2 comes out and I will definitely be only getting the standard version this time.

It sounds like a few people are having similar issues with this. The Destiny: The Collection Upgrade (as opposed to the alternative Destiny: The Collection entire package) is only for those moving from legacy consoles, as has been said, and should be made
available soon if what Bungie has said is true.

Now, what I'm not sure if you guys have done is import your Xbox 360 Destiny accounts forward to your new consoles? I believe it is this process that makes the Destiny: The Collection Upgrade available to you, and the information for this is available here:

This will allow you to bring all of your account content forward from legacy consoles, and make the Upgrade available. Alternatively, if you do this account import then you also have the option to purchase the Destiny: Rise of Iron expansion separately for
the same price as the discounted Destiny: The Collection Upgrade deal.
