    Destiny stuck in trial verson


    Destiny is stuck in trial version after bying updates..and i can't play updates. what to do?

    Destiny stuck in trial mode

    I bought the taken king legendary edition after getting the trial mode of destiny. When I launched Destiny again, I was still in trial mode. Later I cleared my cache and had the same result. After that I uninstalled the game as a whole the installed again.
    I still have the same result of being stuck in trial mode.

    Destiny stuck in trial mode

    My son installed the trail and played it. We then bought Destiny on disc with all of the expansions (Rise of Iron, Taken King, Hour of Wolf etc) and installed it but it still stays in trial mode. When it starts, it always has the Rise of Iron logo and carries
    on where my son left off. Twice now I've uninstalled everything to do with Destiny but it still stays the same. I've tried starting the game on different profiles but no joy. Googling reveals that this is a common issue but without a 100% solution. When I look
    in the store it stays that the Destiny trial is 'owned'. Please help.

    Have you tried deleting the Trial version completely then installing the game only and trying it then.

    There's no trial version to have if you do it that way.

    Hi there, so when you downloaded the game again, did you uninstall it first or just re-download it? This looks like a fairly common issue and most have said that uninstalling/deleting the game before re-downloading it fixed the issue so I could only suggest
    doing that.

    If you are sharing the game then the gamertag that made the original purchase must be set as Home on your console or must be logged in for you to be able to play the full version. Otherwise you will need to purchase it yourself.

    Sometimes the game might show as Trial in the Store because you got the trial from the store but then bought the disc. Is your son able to pass level 7 in Destiny? If yes, then the game is not in trial mode anymore.
