Destiny: SLR Racing questions

Yep I was carried through the raid by some folk on here! I remember that Saturday avo when we first tried and failed Dainja! Always found the forum Dstiny community to be really helpful and ready to help out with folks goals. Usual Az rubbish from the
forum uber troll.

 

@ Genchy ,That 5 or 6 hours we spent that Saturday was THE best gaming experience iv'e ever had , was buzzing for hours after , and we didn't even beat the big guy lol .

 

Yea! I remember I went to the pub straight after to meet a mate and could hardly string a sentence together, intense doesn't do it justice! And no we didn't lol!

 

Genchy, you and dainja are amongst the funniest people on this forum. Had the pleasure of playing Destiny with dainja. Top bloke.

^ "Top" is pushing it a bit but he's not to bad! Will have to join you for a game sometime but don't have any of the DLC and have Gears commitments this weekend! Finally played a BC title last night and was amazed at how well it played?

 

Now "Fear The Doctor" is a top Forum member.

He is very helpful, a really nice guy and a pleasure to play the game with.

He and his brother gave me the tour of the Dreadnought in the early doors.

You haven't actually taken me through a Nightfall but I know that you would in a heartbeat.

I was helped through the "Vault of Glass" by a 1 guy in particular who took the time to help newer players progress and in turn my buddies and me would never pass up the opportunity to assist fellow players looking to progress as well.

My comments were directed at LeiFang and a few others who are happy to beg the help but they're not in the habit of giving it. Or in other cases when they come to the Forums to just be jerks to people.

You said yourself that you wanted to do some missions but some elitist snobs told you that your light level didn't meet your approval.

We have people like that in the forums too.

Whether it's someone trying to tell you that the guns you enjoy are 'crap' or someone telling you that 'well if you aren't winning the sparrow racing it must be because you suck' it's the jerks like that who don't do the community any favors and are the
main reason these boards are as sparsely populated as they are today.

So don't think I'm having a go at you "Fear The Doctor" because I'm not.

300 is the lowest attainable goal apart from 310 and 320 and I want to at least reach it. I don't care at all about 310 and 320.

Lei Feng, this is exactly what drove me away from Forza multiplayer. Racing can be very precise genre of gaming, and I simply didn't have the reflexes to beat other people. It's a lot of fun, but I'm must just not skilled enough to beat other people. So
I stopped playing the genre.

 

Lei, I am not offended and I am glad you aren't mad. Games are supposed to be fun and if the struggle to hit 300 is frustrating you, it isn't worth the hassle

I am really sorry for all of the drama that I've caused, please forgive me

I play to have fun, but I get aggrevated when the goal that I set (which doesn't even qualify as a challenge to other gamers) doesn't get reached.

A perfect example is this right here. I got so caught up at reaching Light Level 300 that my enjoyment of Destiny got affected so much

I love Destiny and I am officially giving up on reaching Light Level 300

Again, I sincerely apologize for being such a drama Queen and I completely understand if someone hates me because of my emotional roller coaster ride.
