Destiny: SLR Racing questions

I don't understand why people insist on being rewarded and hate on a game developer because they don't have the skills to compete. The rewards are random, you just need to finish races/complete bounties to reach level 3 before you start getting good drops.
No need to 'hate' bungie/activision because better skilled racers are leaving you in the dust.

 

There's no real reason to be left in the dust.

To complete the Tricks Bounty you need to select the Legendary Sparrow they gifted you with when they released Crota's End.

That thing is slower than all the others and you can still keep up with the pack even if they're using the Raid Speeder Bikes that allow for extra boosting.

It wouldn't hurt if racing was a bit more engaging though.

You could turn 2 tracks into 4 if you simply raced them the other way round also.

I do not get any reputation for not completing a race. I suck at Sparrow Racing and when the first racer crosses the finish line I don't have enough time to finish the race.

I want to have solo missions available that will allow me to EARN 300 attack / defense gear. Is that so much to ask when the max Light Level is 320?

I have done 4 or 5 Nightfalls, and I have only gotten an upgrade once. The other 3 or 4 runs gave me the same garbage gear that I've been getting outside of the Nightfall.

I just played 15 Sparrow Races and I was only able to finish 3 of them

I am still at Rank Zero and I only have 400 something XP and I need 1700 something to reach Rank 1

I almost destroyed my Xbox One if I didn't manage to turn it off and back away from it first

You want to level up your light level but won't play the game modes designed to get you there!

Destiny, with all its faults, is a SOCIAL game. Made to be played with others.

Just because you won't put on a headset and talk to people isn't Bungies or Activisions fault.

i'm pretty sure you'll be able to reach light level 300 once Bungie increase the cap , then you'll finally be able to say you beat the game...............sort of .

 

Lei, I will reply to you the same way I replied to you private message. I never claimed I was better than you or that I was good at pvp. I am just saying its silly to hate a game/developer because you aren't good at or don't want to play a game the way
they designed it to be played. There are plenty of great single player games out there that won't make you feel like you are missing out

 

One other comment. Why are you so concerned with light over 300? All of the single player content is below 300

That's not going to happen any time soon for the same reason that nobody on the Forums falls over themselves to assist a male member.

Lei Fang, nobody on here would dare admit that they spent money to boost their Sparrow Rank so if you did the same thing there's no reason you should admit to it either.

While some may feel there's a certain prestige associated with a 300+ light level the amount of time you have to waste on those 2 monotonous tracks is a bit like getting the full 1000 achievements in "King Kong" on the XBox 360.

Sure, you got 1000 achievements in a game... but you wasted 6 hours of your life playing "King Kong".

If you aren't enjoying Sparrow Racing... don't waste your time on it.

 

I spent money Az. I bought a pack so I didn't feel I had to use the bright pink sparrow I was given.

Just to be clear, you have proven yourself VERY wrong again.

Numerous forum members have replied to posts I have made asking for help directly to my profile.

Just because they don't respond here doesn't mean they don't care.

I want to help Lei level up. I really do. I don't care if a gamer is male, female or flipping hamster! I will still help if I can.

@ AZ , what the actual chuff did you just type ? Only one person here believes 300 light level is the holy grail , everyone else knows it comes with natural progression of playing the game how Bungie envisaged , with others , socially . And just for your
information , if it wasn't for some of these very friendly folk on these forums , I wouldn't have played as much Destiny as I have .
