Destiny rise of iron

I preordered Destiny rise of iron with GameStop. I got my code today and typed it in and it credited me with a 30 dollar Microsoft girt card. It tells me I need to go to the store and purchase it there but it says Destiny rise of iron preorder is not currently
avaliable.

Destiny Rise of Iron issue

I seem to be getting something different.

I can't easily find "Destiny: Rise of Iron" in the store pages without doing a manual search for "Rise of Iron".

I get an add-on page for ROI, but there's no purchase/pre-order options. There's only a message that says "(!) Destiny: Rise of Iron is currently not available."

 

This is BS on Bungie and Mircrosft.

 

I got this and contacted supported. They gave me a link (sorry - don't still have) but it sent me to the Microsoft store. it is now showing me as owning the game. But now I "own" it but can't see it on the Xbox One. I tried to re-input the code on the
Xbox and it said the code is already redeemed.

 

It won't let me buy it from the microsoft store either.

 

Did the same thing credited me $30 so I went to store got code was about to redeem it and it say the same thing $33 gift card so I haven't redeemed it yet

 

Well you actually have to have all of the Destiny expansions downloaded and you have to get it from in game on Destiny

 

Hey Everyone I posted this in a previous thread:

Could you all try the following steps listed here to try and resolve this issue:

In order to purchase Destiny: Rise of Iron you must make sure your account which is trying to purchase Rise of Iron owns Destiny: The Taken King. That is required to be able to purchase Rise of Iron.

Now if you have finished that step then you have a few methods of which you can buy the DLC:

1. You can sign into your account via this link here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/p/destiny-rise-of-iron-pre-order/c3tbg0pc3fc9 and buy the DLC

Or

2. Launch your game and under the director select the icon for Rise of Iron and select purchase and try to purchase the DLC.

Now you also could try searing the Store on your Xbox One for "Destiny: Rise of Iron" but if you do make sure it says "Pre-Order" otherwise you will run into the issue of it stating it can only be bought in a bundle.

This whole DLC pre-order is a mess. Didn't get my Pre-Order code till today from Gamestop. Then I had no idea it was just a $30 gift card.

The confusion came because I have 2 accounts. One for my son and for myself. Looks like I had purchased Destiny under my sons account and I couldn't see the pre-order until I used the link you posted. Thanks again for that.

Was able to get the pre-order for $29.99 (huh??). This whole things is a mess. I hope they revisit it.

This has been the worst pre order crap I have ever had.

 

same here I preordered it picked up my receipt and cant even get it... never going to gamestop again

 

I know that I will never do a Bungie pre order again.
