Destiny Rise of Iron Questions

Hello everyone! Not sure if I am dong something wrong, but wondering if anyone else had these issues. Bought my son the new XBox 1 Destiny Rise of Iron expansion set for his birthday. Downloaded the disk and everything yesterday (took almost half the
day too). Went to put in codes that came with the insert in the Factory Sealed game case and it's telling me I need to re-purchase all the add ons and the Rise of Iron game. Then when we go to play the game, he always starts at the Taken King. Now the
Xbox 1 is new, he has completed the Taken King (several times) on the 360 and just wants to play the Rise of Iron. He's very upset and I'm not sure what I can do. Is, or did, anyone else having these issues and how did you correct it?

How to get Destiny: Rise of Iron

Destiny: Rise of Iron Launch Edition: If you already own Expansion I & II, as well as the digital version of The Taken King, this
is the version for you!

Note: Your account must own The Taken King digitally in order to purchase Rise of Iron: Launch Edition. If you purchased CSV from a 3rd party retailer to buy Destiny: Rise of Iron, ensure you have purchased The Taken King digitally
first!

Destiny - The Collection: If you're new to the series, or have yet to purchase the original Destiny Expansions & Destiny: The Taken King,
this is going to be the best value for you!

Destiny: The Collection Upgrade: If you're switching from the Xbox 360 version of Destiny to the Xbox One version, this is the
one you want to look into.

Note: You must own The Taken King digitally on Xbox 360 in order to purchase this version.

Sorry to hear it. Please try highlighting the game from the dashboard and press the Start (Menu) button on the controller. Select Manage Game and then go to the Ready to Install list. If you redeemed codes the DLC should be listed there ready to download.

If it is showing as already downloaded then perhaps your son's character level is currently too low to access the RoI content. Have him continue playing the content will eventually be opened up for him to start on.

I seem to be getting something different.

I can't easily find "Destiny: Rise of Iron" in the store pages without doing a manual search for "Rise of Iron".

I get an add-on page for ROI, but there's no purchase/pre-order options. There's only a message that says "(!) Destiny: Rise of Iron is currently not available."

They are being kind of sneaky on this one.

My friends are thinking of coming back to "Destiny" for the "Rise of Iron" but cannot find anything but the £50.00 download in the store.

The store HIDES "The Rise Of Iron" @ £24.99 unless you own "The Taken King".

If you own "Destiny" on the XBox ONE you need to purchse "The Taken King" for £14.99 and then "Rise Of Iron" is available for £24.99.

This saves you £10.00.

Hi all,

In order to purchase Destiny: Rise of Iron you must make sure your account which is trying to purchase Rise of Iron owns Destiny: The Taken King. That is required to be able to purchase Rise of Iron.

Now if you have finished that step then you have a few methods of which you can buy the DLC:

1. You can sign into your account via this link here:
www.microsoft.com/.../c3tbg0pc3fc9 and buy the DLC

Or

2. Launch your game and under the director select the icon for Rise of Iron and select purchase and try to purchase the DLC.

Now you also could try searing the Store on your Xbox One for "Destiny: Rise of Iron" but if you do make sure it says "Pre-Order" otherwise you will run into the issue of it stating it can only be bought in a bundle.
