    The code you purchased includes currency to use for purchasing Rise of Iron, it does not contain the game. If you have not purchased the previous expansions you would not be able to purchase Rise of Iron without owning all content prior. Thanks for your

    I also bought a code from gamestop under the assumption i was purchasing the DLC but no. Bait and switch is exactly what it is and last i checked is fraud.The game has dropped and all i have to show for my countless hours on the xbox store. bungie and surfing
    the web is bloodshot eyes and a huge headache. I just don't understand something so awsome could turn out so ***.

    CoyOLD MAN 83, they provided you with a code for the exact amount to get the pre-order content from the digital store. That's just how pre-ordering or purchasing content from a retailer works.

    Having the same issue. 30 bucks credited and the Game is showing as not available. AND the MS support queue is backed up to 288 minutes for a call back. This is such a total Cluster-F!

    Could you please attempt these steps listed here to see if you can get the content:

    In order to purchase Destiny: Rise of Iron you must make sure your account which is trying to purchase Rise of Iron owns Destiny: The Taken King. That is required to be able to purchase Rise of Iron.

    Now if you have finished that step then you have a few methods of which you can buy the DLC:

    1. You can sign into your account via this link here: www.microsoft.com/.../c3tbg0pc3fc9 and buy the DLC

    Or

    2. Launch your game and under the director select the icon for Rise of Iron and select purchase and try to purchase the DLC.

    3. You also could try searing the Store on your Xbox One for "Destiny: Rise of Iron" but if you do make sure it says "Pre-Order" otherwise you will run into the issue of it stating it can only be bought in a bundle.

    Also for those of you who Pre-Ordered "Rise of Iron" from GameStop: They send you a currency code, you will still be required to cover the taxes deemed by your state. If you Pre-Ordered this way simply try steps 2 or 3 here and get the content for Destiny.

    I pre-ordered thru the xbox store on my console and got an email receipt but not sure if it has a code in the email or not, sort of looks like one but not exactly. Do I need a redeem code at this point or no? Destiny IN game still has pre-order listed

    I've got the same issue with the purchase and I've even gone as far as to reinstall everything and the game keeps trying to redirect me to buy it again but My account was charged and I've got a receipt and everything. I also installed the freaking preorder
    package thing like uninstall installed multiple times and it doesn't register. It is frustrating that it seems to work for other friends and not me...
