Destiny Rise of Iron - Preorder

Hi,

I preordered the upcoming DLC of Destiny (Rise of Iron) on the 6 of august, but as far as i understood it wasn't supposed to be orderable. The money was taken from my account but it seems that I don't actually own it. Destiny doesn't recognize that I have
it (I know it's not out yet but since the last update if i click on the Rise of iron informations it asks me if I have a code or if I want to buy it), neither does the xbox store when the DLC was finally officially out for preorder. I don't know why, now it
is only available through a full bundle.

I would just like to be given what I already paid for, or at least get a refund if the solo DLC is accessible in preorder again.

I preordered Destiny rise of iron with GameStop. I got my code today and typed it in and it credited me with a 30 dollar Microsoft girt card. It tells me I need to go to the store and purchase it there but it says Destiny rise of iron preorder is not currently
avaliable.

Double check that it is not in the ready to install section in My Games & Apps in your console. Also check your purchases at account.microsoft.com

 

I've got the same issue with the purchase and I've even gone as far as to reinstall everything and the game keeps trying to redirect me to buy it again but My account was charged and I've got a receipt and everything. I also installed the freaking preorder
package thing like uninstall installed multiple times and it doesn't register. It is frustrating that it seems to work for other friends and not me...

 

SN1PER SK33T, Destiny's DLC are fully integrated within the game, downloaded through the game itself.

TwoFootTwinkie, I got a refund and bought it again through the store on the xbox one. It should be okay now. I invite you to do the same, but don't freak out if the Rise of Iron location on Destiny's map ask you to buy it or enter the code - seems to be
normal 'til the DLC's not released yet.

 

I'm having an issue with the Contact us on the Billing Section. I replaced the card I pre-ordered on due to it being broken in half. They just tried to charge it even though I ordered a month back, anywho, now I can't get them to change the order to my current
card because the support site will not work with contact us on xbox's website. I went through microsofts support, who said they could not do anything but make a ticket and would call me in 24-48 hours. It's been 72. No call. I dont want to miss out on the
rise of iron due to Xbox's support not being active.

Sorry to hear you haven't heard back quite yet. Did you reach out during the weekend? If so, I recommend reaching back out to see if there's any update on your issue. Let us know how it goes

 

I pre-ordered thru the xbox store on my console and got an email receipt but not sure if it has a code in the email or not, sort of looks like one but not exactly. Do I need a redeem code at this point or no? Destiny IN game still has pre-order listed
or redeem code.

 

Could you please attempt these steps listed here to see if you can get the content:

In order to purchase Destiny: Rise of Iron you must make sure your account which is trying to purchase Rise of Iron owns Destiny: The Taken King. That is required to be able to purchase Rise of Iron.

Now if you have finished that step then you have a few methods of which you can buy the DLC:

1. You can sign into your account via this link here: www.microsoft.com/.../c3tbg0pc3fc9 and buy the DLC

Or

2. Launch your game and under the director select the icon for Rise of Iron and select purchase and try to purchase the DLC.

3. You also could try searing the Store on your Xbox One for "Destiny: Rise of Iron" but if you do make sure it says "Pre-Order" otherwise you will run into the issue of it stating it can only be bought in a bundle.

Also for those of you who Pre-Ordered "Rise of Iron" from GameStop: They send you a currency code, you will still be required to cover the taxes deemed by your state. If you Pre-Ordered this way simply try steps 2 or 3 here and get the content for Destiny.

So I bought the preorder of Rise of Iron from game stop, I go to install the game and its still unavailable.... and I'm using the correct downloadable content which is destiny rise of iron pre-order... but its still stating that its unavailable.... is anyone
else having the same issues as I am. If so were you able to fix it? Or is the release time that's been posted, which was 2am pst time, wrong? I just want to play the game that I paid for and at this point its becoming a bigger hassle that if I would've just
bought the *** game at Wal-mart......

There was trouble last night for users accessing Destiny servers but the issue should be resolved now. Are you still having issues?

 

Similar issue as Trudith16. Purchased Rise of Iron pre-order yesterday through Game Stop and the download code only deposited $30 in xbox live account. It now says the Rise of Iron add-on is only available as part of a bundle that includes the entire game,
for twice the price.

 

Having the same issue. 30 bucks credited and the Game is showing as not available. AND the MS support queue is backed up to 288 minutes for a call back. This is such a total Cluster-F!
