Destiny Rise of Iron only available through bundle?

Discus and support Destiny Rise of Iron only available through bundle? in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I know I'm way late, but I was excited to finally purchase the add on Rise of Iron.     Destiny Rise of Iron only available through bundle?


    I know I'm way late, but I was excited to finally purchase the add on Rise of Iron. The only problem is, I can't purchase the add on by itself. The only way I can obtain it through Xbox store is if I buy it in the "Destiny: The Collection" bundle. I've read
    all over the internet and haven the been able to find a solution. I'd really appreciate any info that may help!

    Destiny Rise of Iron issue

    I seem to be getting something different.

    I can't easily find "Destiny: Rise of Iron" in the store pages without doing a manual search for "Rise of Iron".

    I get an add-on page for ROI, but there's no purchase/pre-order options. There's only a message that says "(!) Destiny: Rise of Iron is currently not available."

    Trouble downloading Destiny: Rise Of Iron, while owning Destiny: The Taken King on disc

    As the title says, I own a hard copy of Destiny: the Taken King, but I pre-ordered Destiny: Rise of Iron trough Gamestop. I was given a code, and upon redeeming this afternoon, it gave me $34.00 for the Xbox Store. I went to buy Destiny: Rise of Iron, but
    it is only available through the $60.00 collection. I have hard reset my Xbox One multiple times, and tried following the link through Destiny's Director, but I get a Failed Query every time.

    How Do I fix This?

    Sorry to hear it. Load up the game and go to the mission select screen. There you should see an ROI icon to the right of Earth. Click it and watch the trailer. After that you should be able to purchase the DLC.

    Sorry to see any frustrations here. In order to purchase Rise of Iron, you need to have the entitlement for The Taken King on your account. If you do not have that on this account, you will not be able to purchase the game.

    If you go into Orbit, select the Rise of Iron expansion, and then it shows you to The Collection instead, this means the account that you are attempting that with does not have The Taken King on it. Unfortunately, the disc version of the game does not count
    towards this.

    We suggest reaching out to
    Activision     for any other concerns about this if you don't have the entitlement on your account to purchase the game separately. If you do have the entitlement, please post back so that we can look into it further! Destiny Rise of Iron only available through bundle? :)

    Well i'm sort of in the same situation. I didnt play Destiny for more then 1 year, now some family members bought the Collection Edition.

    What i have: Destiny (guardian/standard) version on Disk.

    Now i can buy 2 upgrade versions: The Taking King (20 euro) or The Collection (60 euro). The thing is, i only want: The Taking King + Rise of Iron.

    What to do? Is it possible that i buy The Taking King, and after that i get the option to buy Rise of Iron?

    Or will i throw my euro's away if i try this? Because i'm afraid that after i buy The Taking King, that i will still need a complete bundle; The Collection (a 60 euro) to get Rise of Iron?

    If i buy The Collection, i have 2x Destiny the game (totally waste of money). 1x on disk, 1x digital, so i dont want to do that, it's just a waste of money.

    What i want: just buy The Taking King (20 euro) and after that i want to buy Rise of Iron (20-30 euro), possible or not? Because in the MS store i can not buy Rise of Iron, i can only get Rise of Iron when i buy the complete Collection Edition.. What is

    Yes indeed, it sucks it must go on this way. It's strange that the makers from Destiny dont allow me to buy the 2 DLC packs, no they want that i buy also Destiny the game AGAIN if i want Rise of Iron.

    I just want to download The Taken King, and after that Rise of Iron.. NOW if i buy The Taken King, they want me to pay an extra 60 euro to get Rise of Iron (incl taken king and the game itself).

    What about the people what have Destiny on Disk, and bought like 1-2 months ago The Taken King.. They must pay again 60 euro to get Rise of Iron (because it's only in the complete bundle??)? It more sounds like a scam trick?

    Nowp, when u try in on that way, he want you to pay 60 euro for the complete bundle. It looks like it is NOT possible to buy Rise of Iron alone, the only way to get is to buy the complete bundle. Even if you already have Destiny+The Taken King, u must rebuy
    everything to get Rise of Iron.

    It's a sick way to steal money from ur fans, not any other game does it like this.

    With only the taken king u can do nothing in Crucible, to play Crucible you must buy The Collection editin (for Rise of Iron).
