    Destiny: Rise of Iron -- Not Available


    I have been trying to get the Rise of Iron DLC for my son on XBOX1 and whenever I check it says it is not available. He has everything through Taken King so I don't want to buy the full version again. Please help

    Destiny Rise of Iron issue

    I seem to be getting something different.

    I can't easily find "Destiny: Rise of Iron" in the store pages without doing a manual search for "Rise of Iron".

    I get an add-on page for ROI, but there's no purchase/pre-order options. There's only a message that says "(!) Destiny: Rise of Iron is currently not available."

    In-case you guys haven't been checking every day like the rest of us, Rise of Iron pre-orders now available.

    Also Dead Dude, it's been confirmed there will be no interaction with the wolves so you've been lead astray.

    'I've seen Lord Saladin leading a pack of wolves. They're bringing wolves to Destiny?!

    Sadly, no. Bungie has confirmed that players will have no interaction with those animals in Rise of Iron.'

    Sorry to hear it. In order to purchase the Rise of Iron DLC separately you'll need to load up the game and go to the mission select menu. There you should see a ROI icon to the right of Earth. Click it and watch the trailer. After that you should be
    able to purchase it for your son.

    They are being kind of sneaky on this one.

    My friends are thinking of coming back to "Destiny" for the "Rise of Iron" but cannot find anything but the £50.00 download in the store.

    The store HIDES "The Rise Of Iron" @ £24.99 unless you own "The Taken King".

    If you own "Destiny" on the XBox ONE you need to purchse "The Taken King" for £14.99 and then "Rise Of Iron" is available for £24.99.

    This saves you £10.00.

    Unable to purchase Destiny: The Collection Upgrade

    Hey there,

    Which upgrade are you wanting? Are you upgrading from legacy console (Xbox 360) or simply wanting to purchase the Destiny: Rise of Iron expansion for your current copy of Destiny (The Taken King or other)?

    From the Bungie announcements and description on the Xbox Store it would seem as though the Destiny: The Collection Upgrade is the option for legacy console owners who upgrade to Xbox One , and will be made available soon, whereas the Destiny: The Collection
    option is for people wanting to purchase everything currently available as well as the Rise of Iron expansion for when it comes out, so is this the option you are wanting? Or if you are wanting the Rise of Iron expansion exclusively, there is also the option
    for that.
