Destiny: Rise of Iron DLC Pre-order

Hello. I need an issue resolved as soon as possible because time is literally running out.

I pre-ordered Destiny Rise of Iron last month when it was available to. Not too long ago, I'd say the Saturday that just passed, and my account was charged but there wasn't any money in my account at that time. So the transaction was denied naturally. But
now there is money in my account but the transaction has not updated. Even after I updated my account information.

I've called support and I've done everything they've asked me to do inclouding removing my account information and re-entering it.

Finally I was told that if I waited long enough my account with be recharged for the content. But that answer was a little vague. I just want to be sure because I'm literally looking at this dlc on my console and it's saying that I own it but no money has
been taken out of my account for it. I'm just trying to get a better answer.

Does anyone know when you can pre-order the new rise of iron dlc for destiny. Only show it as coming soon

Preordering Rise of iron

Hi all,

In order to purchase Destiny: Rise of Iron you must make sure your account which is trying to purchase Rise of Iron owns Destiny: The Taken King. That is required to be able to purchase Rise of Iron.

Now if you have finished that step then you have a few methods of which you can buy the DLC:

1. You can sign into your account via this link here:
www.microsoft.com/.../c3tbg0pc3fc9 and buy the DLC

Or

2. Launch your game and under the director select the icon for Rise of Iron and select purchase and try to purchase the DLC.

Now you also could try searing the Store on your Xbox One for "Destiny: Rise of Iron" but if you do make sure it says "Pre-Order" otherwise you will run into the issue of it stating it can only be bought in a bundle.

You shouldn't be charged for the DLC until it is released on the 20th.

3. You also could try searing the Store on your Xbox One for "Destiny: Rise of Iron" but if you do make sure it says "Pre-Order" otherwise you will run into the issue of it stating it can only be bought in a bundle.

Also for those of you who Pre-Ordered "Rise of Iron" from GameStop: They send you a currency code, you will still be required to cover the taxes deemed by your state. If you Pre-Ordered this way simply try steps 2 or 3 here and get the content for Destiny.

I game share and want to pre order Rise of iron. But my game share partner originally bought Destiny and it is not letting me buy rise of iron for us. Is this because we game share and he bought Destiny? We do have all of the other DLC .

found this and it helped me. Hi all,

My friend and I were trying to pre-order Rise of Iron for Destiny late tonight and ran into an issue where we could not purchase the add-on. It was saying that the add-on was only part of the bundle, which is the "Destiny: The Collection" bundle. Here
is our work around that we found to work for both of us:

On your Xbox One in the Xbox Store...

- Go to "The Taken King" Destiny DLC page on the Xbox Store

- If you have the "Install" prompt (even if you own it and played it lots like me), INSTALL IT. I think this might update your license for the game.

- Go to browse games. Search "Rise of Iron - Pre-Order" rather than the "Rise of Iron - Add-on". THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. The ADD-ON is part of the "Destiny: The Collection" bundle and is not available to purchase. However, the PRE-ORDER is MOST DEFINITELY
available to purchase.

- Go to the "Rise of Iron - Pre-Order" page (NOT RISE OF IRON - ADD-ON) and you should have a prompt to buy it.

- Buy it and be happy FINALLY

I hope this helps anyone else who is in a similar situation I was in trying to pre-order this DLC late.
