Destiny question

I customized my characters head. When I go to menu and upgrade my armor, weapons, etc. Why do I have some other standard head, that everyone else seems to have when playing quests? This is extremely irritating for me.

By standard head, do you mean helmet?

 

Everyone starts with that helmet. When you get to the Tower you will see yourself with helmets off.

 

It's frustrating that everyone looks the same everywhere else. So much for customization.

 

No everyone looks different when you get to level 2 and get more gear.

 

I know, my character is level 8 now. Looks completely random and not the way I'd like him to look. Everyone wears helmets in battle and everyone's customized face is left hidden. The customization in this game could have been done a lot better. Though I've
read briefly somewhere that they'll be adding customizable colors for the entire body display... which I suppose would be a better improvement.

 

There is a lot of customisation but I know what you mean about finding better gear not guaranteeing you will look better.

Sometimes you look great... sometimes you look... not so great.

Alas, helmets are a necessaty because there is no air on the Moon and Russia presumeably smells extremely bad.

 

The helmet doesn't make sense on my character. I'm a war machine apparently. Why does a machine need a helmet to breathe?

 

As a cyborg you have very efficient lungs but you still need air to breathe.

So you might last longer than the other characters on the Moon but alas, the need to breathe catches up with us all.

As far as Earth is concerned your heightened sense of smell would cause your character to be swiftly overpowered by the smell in Russia, not to mention the stench of corruption in the dwellings of the fallen.

 

I know the feel. I had a complete set of this cool looking red matching armor.

Now the better armor i've found isn't all matching and doesn't look as cool

 

Is there not an option to customize the color of your armors and stuff in this game like they did for Halo?

 

Apparently this is on it's way.

 

You can change your armors color with shaders at lvl 20.
