Destiny Purchased August 2015, Expansions Purchased September 2015, Content nerfed by Bungie ...

I purchased Destiny back in August, and found the game to be barely more interesting than the demo, so I purchased the two expansion add on programs via XBOX live, In September, this improved the game experience for a few weeks until Bungie performed an
upload, "2.0" which has done the following:

Players who have not purchased The Taken King are now locked out of countless activities that we paid for, and other content has been removed altogether. This includes:

- Daily heroic

- Weekly heroic

- Weekly nightfall

- Story missions with heroic modifier

- Strike playlists above level 20

- Mode specific PVP playlists

- Faction/vendor gear

- Iron Banner

- Trials of Osiris

- Eris Morn bounties

- Wolf bounties

I have contacted Bungie numerous times and have been blatantly ignored.

And as a last hope I have "several times" contacted Microsoft support to be reimbursed my Xbox Live monies for the lost expansion modules.

Several of my Colleagues who have made the same purchases have been reimbursed, I unfortunately have been told:

"Im sorry there is nothing I can do, actually I have refunded this product for other customers but I cant help you..SO SAD" " Anyway....Is there anything else you would like to discuss?" I was courteous for the entire call, and hung up as soon as she made
this uncalled for statement.

BTW:

Those of my group who have purchased a PS3, and were caught up in the same issue with Bungie contacted Sony, stated that they felt cheated, by the action of Activision and were reimbursed, all transactions which dealt with the purchase of destiny, and its
add on modules.

Never received Gears of War codes from buying the Ultimate Edition in August 2015

Hello,

I purchased the gears of war ultimate edition in August of 2015 and played it online in September or October but never received codes to download the old Gears of war games.

Assassin's Creed Black Flag & Unity

When I originally purchased my console in either late August 2015 or early September 2015 I received the Product key for above mentioned games. I have since lost the cards that had gotten. Please help.

Sorry to hear it. Unfortunately we cannot help on the forums. Any billing request lies strictly with phone support and cannot be handled anywhere else.

As for the game issue itself, you would need to continue trying to contact Bungie. However, if you do decide to purchase The Taken King you can do so from within the game menu. When your ship is in space you select the option to choose your mission and
then view the Taken King trailer. After that you'll have the option to purchase the add on only for $40.

LOL thanks for your opinion, but from the view of a non-activision employee, the business practices of Activision, Bungie and now unfortunately Microsoft has made it clearly revealed that unless I make another purchase of $40 dollars, my previous investment
of $100 dollars that gave me less than a month of playing time. But I do appreciate your civility, and not the usual crass retort given by the Bungie employees masquerading as a fan on these forums.

if your talking about Destiny's new update i found this on a gaming forum may not be 100% fact

The Taken King, the latest and largest expansion for Bungie’s Destiny is launching on September 15, 2015. The new expansion adds new weapons, story missions, increases the level cap and includes a new raid called ‘The King’s Fall’. It seems now however,
that the newest raid will not be playable the same day the rest of the content is available.

Raids in Destiny are team-based missions that require a great deal of skill, planning and time. “The King’s Fall” is most likely a high-level mission and may have been delayed to give players more time to level up their characters. However, no reason is
given for the delay and no estimate of the raid’s release has been offered, even if Bungie apparently already know when it will be released.

Destiny: The Taken King will be available on September 15, 2015.

Darthdad969, that is why it has been stated repeatedly in this thread that Bungie has stated that "Unfortunately digital pre-orders are not available for the Xbox 360 platform. You will be able to purchase The Taken King $40 expansion on 9/15 when The Taken
King releases.

Note that all Day 1 Taken King players will have access to the bonus weapon packs."

And "Destiny players who have reached light level 30 or who previously purchased Expansion I and Expansion II by August 31, 2015, will receive an exclusive commemorative Founder's Fortune year 1 Emblem, Sparrow, Armor shader and more at launch with your
purchase of The Taken King."
