Destiny Price: Free

I went on today and i was looking into Destiny for the Xbox one. It came up listed as "free" and said it was the game, and even mentioned about expansion packs to buy. When i clicked to get it, it said Destiny FREE again. After downloading it to my Xbox
one, it said enjoy your "TRIAL". No where while making this purchase did it say i was going to get the trial of this. I would be perfectly understanding about this if it had mentioned anywhere trial but it did not. This is completely false advertising and
very misleading. Can someone please answer what is going to be done about this. Thank you.

Is XBOX ONE marketplace the same from XBOX 360?

Some games offer a free upgrade or reduced price to upgrade to the Xbox One but for the most part they use different programming so are not compatible.

Free Upgrade Games:

Destiny (until Jan 15)

CoD Advanced Warfare (I believe until March)

Free upgrades for already purchased DLC

Minecraft

Rocksmith

Pinball FX2

Reduced price for upgrade

Anyone get anything good in the Ultimate Sale?

I was considering Destiny 2 + DLC bundle, as for the sale price, you are effectively getting the base game free (!)and the whole lot for the price of one of the DLC's. Then again, Forsaken is coming, which for *that* price... well. I don't know, lol

May pick up Late Shift and Boggle.

Having the same issue except I'm trying to purchase the game digitally but it won't give me the option to. I only get install trial, then play trial. I've played from a disc version before and I'm past the level cap so the game prompts me every time to purchase
the full version, but again all I get is the option to play trial when I enter the Xbox games store.

 

Destiny has never been offered for games for gold

It is offered as a trial for free which you must make the full game purchase ingame

Its not false advertisement as the regular game is still listed as 69 bucks and the trial as free

 

The download I am speaking about was the full version. No where did it list trial and now when I look at the page it says $59.99. I have screen shots showing "free". I was told to post here and someone would answer me within 24 hrs and nobody has responded.
