Destiny pre order from MS Store. Delivery date 9-11 .

I ordered Destiny from the MS Store a few months ago and while checking the UPS tracking today while waiting for delivery I notice it's not being delivered until 9 - 11. Any one else get similar news on their order ? Does this happen often when placing
a pre order with the MS Store for games ? Is it still a pre order when its delivered 2 days after release, I live in NYC its not like UPS has to ride a donkey up a long dirt road or MS hand pressed a unique disc for me.

End of relatively pointless post.

They are giving a $20 marketplace credit if you pre-order GTA V through the MS store and I was wondering if anyone has pre-ordered a game through there before and if you get release date delivery?

Preorder only means you are guaranted a copy....... You already paid for it.

Go to a store next month, see how many new copies are availible,,, Cheaper

I ordered my controller from MS store on April 11, the order confirmation email has an expected delivery date of May 6th. The order status is pending for now, but we will see if MS can meet the delivery date they stated.

I have the same issue, pre-ordered 9/11/20 estimated delivery 12/11/20. Nothing received so far except the order confirmation email, order status just shows "pending".

Having spoken to a very pleasant lady on the helpline ETA is now 23/12/20!

Apparently my "pre-order" is the second batch release. I did point out that the sales website is massively misrepresenting the delivery date. It appears this is a "glitch" they are working on. It sounded like she had given this scripted answer a lot.

If they had given an honest delivery ETA I would have looked elsewhere too, but now its too late.

Very poor customer service from MS Store, no update whatsoever to tell me the delivery estimate was off by about 5 weeks! Just wait until the customer calls in to query it.

Not the way to release the best next gen console MS, your good press for console will be marred by the bad press for not fulfilling orders....

I pre ordered Forza 5 LE for home delivery. I received no communication since. Was given delivery date of 11/22 when I ordered. Not sure when it may actually arrive.
