    I just tried this method, changing the DNS. worked for updating my xbox one update, and now destiny is working. Changing the DNS changes the gateways being used by your router to connect to the internet. Microsoft put in new Azure servers in sydney and melbourne
    and they are having a problem connecting to iinet. Go to settings, network, advanced, change your DNS manually and its all fixed Destiny not updating :)

    If this works for me I'm going to be so *** happy but I won't be able to check till I get home from work in 6 hrs

    Changing the DNS worked for me but your downloads wont count towards your freezone usage.

    • Pause the update by highlighting the Destiny tile, press the menu button, and select 'Pause'.
    • Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds, or until the console powers off.
    • Power back on and launch Destiny to continue the update.

    I'm with iinet and i'm currently having this problem. Cant download or update anything even after a factory reset.

    I had my console returned from the service center yesterday. It took me around 6hrs to update the console. Constantly dropping connection with the Live servers. I too am on Internode.
