Destiny not updating

I'm having massive issues with destiny update at the moment. Tried to get the new 64MB update, got stuck at 64% for a couple of hours. Power cycled, update disappeared but destiny wouldn't play. after numerous power cycles, router resets and leaving the
xbox one unplugged, still couldn't find the update to continue. I then uninstalled destiny completely, disconnected from the internet, installed it, connected to the internet and tried downloading all updates (2.3 GB). After 4 hours, it either sits in a queue
(when it's the only game updating) or stays at 4%.

I understand there is a problem at the moment with iinet and xbox live in Australia, but apparently that is fixed now. What can I do to fix this, I have been unable to play Destiny for 2 days now

My live is working fine except that Destiny connection says im not live. WTF?!

so does mine...... now destiny it's updating hopefully it fixes this BS!!!

I have a problem with updating Destiny. Every time i try and update it it says something went wrong? I tried to fix it with the xbox toturial. But that was not helpfull. Please help! I can't play Destiny now! It is for the xbox one.

 

Yeah I'm having the same issue i"m currently talking to Xbox support through Twitter atm if I find anything out I'll let you know

 

I also go through internode as my internet provider and they go through iiNet so there must be something else on iiNet side maybe

 

Rumour has it that Lizard Squad are still disrupting the service, which means that it isn't microsoft's fault at all, but still frustrating

If lizard squad was still interfering with the servers people should be having trouble trying to do anything on Xbox live but arm it only seems to be updates are affected and apparently it might be isolated to Australia. But then again you never know

 

Yeah, it seems to be an update problem in Australia only right now. The Destiny forum however is currently complaining about having to re-download the small update over and over again, so it may be a combination of servers and dodgy patches by bungie

 

Well what ever is wrong with it as long as it's fixed by the 8th I'll be happy

 

I went to factory reset my xbox. But instead of the option being there, there was a "update your console" button instead. clicked it, 238MB update waiting. Update got stuck on 0% so i've now power cycle it. This may be the problem people are facing where
the xbox needs an update but the auto updater is not working

 

You would think that Microsoft would at least address the problem and at least tell us they're working on it

 

I had my console returned from the service center yesterday. It took me around 6hrs to update the console. Constantly dropping connection with the Live servers. I too am on Internode.

 

I'm with iinet and i'm currently having this problem. Cant download or update anything even after a factory reset.

 

I factory reset as well. Its definitely there service. Just spoke to Internode and they confirmed it. Now just have to wait until they fix it. If you can get to the network settings change your DNS server to Google public server. Primary- 8.8.8.8 Secondary-
8.8.4.4. Should help apparently.
