Destiny... Not in Japan

Maybe Sony are little worried that Microsoft's Xbox One may sell well/decent in Japan? Fat chance you say?

It's bad news for Microsoft, but the Xbox One will have little impact in Japan anyways.

You see BSTN i don@t hate the ps4 yes i hate sony but i kinda like the ps4 i will get one but my reason for not getting one yet is 1) the only games that i liked the look of was killzone which they kinda lied about which put me off because i hate it when
a company has to lie and no i aint calling ms perfect either) and second sun which iv inda gone off i was close to getting one infact i could go town tomorrow and get one if i want. 2) i wouldnt use psn because of the hacking crap yes ok that was a while back
but psn is still the same just offering more free games and if u can get hacked once u can get hacked again. same with ms if they got hacked and my details got stolen id stop using xbl aswell

I have no idea why is it exclusive in Japan. Maybe Activision don't think it is worth releasing it in Japan as it will make them no money? Let's be honest has Xbox ever really sold well in Japan? I don't think it has. Look at the PS4 in Japan that is also
not selling all that great at the moment. The Japanese are hard to please and are currently into there handhelds and MMO's.

Personally if Japanese gamers really wanted Destiny on a XB1 could they not import it? Personally am not sure why Microsoft are targeting Japan my self. They don't have a track record there. Sony are not doing all that well in Japan. Nintendo are doing ok
I suppose.

If I've got this right. Bungie tried for a long time to become independent and everything became a bit sour, I think ms eventually let them go but kept the right's to halo.....which was obviously bungies baby lol.

It is a fps so probably not a big game for the Japanese market but so close to launch of the console it would still be a good idea just to have more titles available.

I wouldn't doubt a release later on though it could be a timed exclusive like the bonus content.

It's a shame they're taking a multiplatform game that shouldn't be region locked, and making it exclusive.

Maybe Bungie feels they are making more off of an exclusive deal from Sony, than actual sales on the X1. But I also wonder how popular Destiny will be in Japan.

And on topic what happened to Bungie and Microsoft they where partners but it seems now since the split they are cozy with Sony.

No release in Japan, Console bundles and "timed exclusive content with Sony. I am very sad by all this news.

They made Halo the Xbox crown jewel and now this.
