There are rumored to be another 8 loot cards being made available at E3 2014 bringing the total to 25. Nobody knows what these codes will give you in game yet, but it's sure to be epic.

Destiny = Borderlands?

I dunno. The guns don't look even half as fun as the ones in Borderlands 2. We'll see, I do like loot-based games so I'll keep an eye on Destiny though Destiny seems to focus much less on the loot.

Borderlands kicks Destiny's ass so far for me, but the latter isn't out, heheh...

 

I'm sure these codes will provide gear that's moderately useful for the first hour or so of the game. They definitely won't be anything "epic". Still, I'm sure it's better than the standard crap you would otherwise start off with. I'll be inputting these
codes some time around September.

 

I remember entering all those codes for defiance. Sure hope Destiny idoesnt turn out to be like that.

 

^^ Defiance was a pretty bag game so I would think Destiny would be better.

 

^^I disagree to an extent. The game wasnt bad IMO but the lack of content produced and the fact the TV show didnt play a huge role in the game hurt it. But I didnt find the gameplay bad at all. And it actually helped me find 2 awesome gaming buddies. #PuertoRicanConnection

 

I find that maybe half the people I talked to liked it. That's all good though. I have a feeling Destiny will be a dud, but then again I've always thought of Bungie as mediocre at best.

 

^^How dare you speak ill of Bungie. They are the greatest thing since sliced bread. Ive got the same feeling about Destiny. The gameplay video released a few weeks ago just screams Halo MMO. And while that isnt a bad thing(if you like Halo) I find it to
be lacking creatively and just uninspired. $500 million to make the game? I guess coding Halo from scratch and renaming it was alot of work
