Destiny looks a lot like Halo

ok really, I mean the aliens shooting bullets that fallow you, characters. This game has Halo written all over it. Bungie even made a similar storyline to Halo. I deleted the beta because I will not support Bungie for making this game & putting it on other
platforms. I feel like Bungie is stabbing Xbox fans in the back. Not cool, will not buy or support Bungie products.

Is it worth it getting an Xbox One now, along with a PS4?

@Zero Divided I like all of them, specially Sunset and Quantum. I always heard good things about Halo but I was really afraid to end up having a game that feels almost like Destiny. I am a huge Destiny fan, so I am trying to avoid games that look like it
as they end up collecting dust.

It's actually a fact Halo looks better than Destiny, but I just got used to Destiny. Thanks for the suggestions though

Bungie is sticking to what they do best, and what they've been doing all along. The reason it looks like Halo is because it's made by the people who made Halo. They innovated a lot, and added a whole lot of new features, and aspects to it though. The beta
didn't give much story, so it's too early for me to say. It differs greatly from Halo in gameplay, and features. That's what I like about it. I don't see why you would want it to be an exclusive, when you want exclusives on one console only, the only loser
is the gamers.

 

In my opinion, it resembles Halo because it's a scifi shooter with archetype aliens. There is too little known about the story thus far for us to compare in that aspect. I mean, really, what makes any two shooters fundamentally different? The story. If it
wasn't for that, all shooters would be "essentially" the same. Go here, shoot stuff, go here, shoot some more stuff, etc.

I wasn't impressed with the beta at first but, I have to say, it really grew on me the more I played it. Not to mention the fact that Bungie is taking all feedback from the beta seriously. Even minor complaints like the warlock's bagle are being addressed.
That's fan service if I ever saw it.

 

Boycotting the game just because it's not exclusive to xbox is ridiculous.

Bungie is no longer owned by Microsoft. For Destiny to be exclusive to xbox, Microsoft would have had to pay them a lot of money or the sales from being on only one platform wouldn't be enough to keep them in business.

As for the exclusive playstation DLC that's more activisions doing. As they did a deal with Sony.

 

In my opinion, I thought halo was the reason I bought my XBOX in the first place. I played halo 1, 2, 3, reach, odst, and 4. all the way up to 4 I am realizing it was because of bungie, that I bought my XBOX.

I am not a call of duty fan at all, I like battlefield, but only for like 10 to 15 minutes. I like titanfall, but only to watch someone else play it. I like fallout 3, but its 1 player. I like defiance, but not enough people I know play that game, and it
gets boring and repetitive. I like farcry 2 and 3, waiting for farcry 4 to beat and never play again. I can go on and on with all these FPS games, but when I played Destiny, the moment I was able to walk around, I fell in love with the game. I hadn't even
shot a single bullet yet. the graphics, though was not that sharp, I know they will sharpen them in the full game, so with that being said, the graphics alone was beautiful. when I saw my character dancing, I laughed super hard because I never expected that
to be in a game that is as serious as halo, titanfall, battlefield, call of duty, etc... played the game from 9 to 6 in the morning, beat every mission and just went free roaming with stranger dangers, helping everyone I saw shooting, found a huge robot to
kill, WHILE I WAS FREE ROAMING!!! dude, they can make this game as much as halo as they want, they can add master chief or cortana for all I care, I am buying this game, and I am sure there will be millions of other people who will be also.

 

While I find it ridiculous that you're not going to support it because it's on other platforms ridiculous...I agree that it looks like halo...and it plays like halo. And the halo style music is completely unfitting and kills any attempt at immersion for
me. Didn't like the beta at all, and recently found out the level cap is 20. Since I don't care about the pvp(because I disliked how it played) this game will literally have no longevity for someone like me. And I really despised having to go through the same
exact areas for every single level on the first planet.

Going to be super repetitive and boring in my opinion.

 

Stabbing Xbox fans in the back? I really don't think you understand what that means.

 

If you ask me, COD is repetitive, yet people love that game. gta5 is super repetitive, yet people cant stop playing that game. destiny is going to be great, just give it a chance like you have to do with the xbox one
