    Destiny Load Up Problem (Need Hard Drive?)


    My main account is roland1235 but it says I can't post on the forums so I got into my brother's account so I can post this problem.

    So recently I just bought destiny and I have been saving up for it for 3 weeks. When I bought it I was real excited so I went home and tried to play it. It told me that I need a XBox Hard Drive, I thought I had one, I still have 60 GB worth of USB RAM to
    play the game so I have enough space for the 20 GB of the game. Why won't it let me play it if I have enough space?

    Please answer my question. Thank you.

    Minecraft X1 Edition Achievements

    Once again another achievement problem. Destiny I have demolished loads and loads of stuff. I booted up the 360 version the achievement popped straight away but I cant unlock the X1 version.

    Mines being a ***, dashboard wont load, destiny refuses to play. Its probably my hard drive.

    unfortunatly you will need a hard drive, at least a 20 gig, I ran into the same problem, you can find 3rd party harddrives on amazon fairly cheap that will work

    There's no way to play this game off of a usb, so you'll need to go buy a hard drive that can hold 20gb. Buy one with more just in case there's a little space taken off for making it usable.

    There's no way to play this game off of a usb, so you'll need to go buy a hard drive that can hold 20gb. Buy one with more just in case there's a little space taken off for making it usable.

    Hi there Slikyboi Uk x,

    I'm sorry you're having problems with your console. Can you try booting up the console with no peripherals attached i.e. no controllers, USB flash drives, and most especially no hard drive. Does the console get to the dashboard quicker now? To my knowledge these
    slow boot issues are generally down to either a failing hard drive or on-board memory unit.

    If your console still does not load up to the dashboard without the hard drive attached, it is the sign of a hardware failure. If it loads the dashboard fine without the hard drive, the next test is to try another hard drive from another console on your machine.
    If it loads ok with this other hard drive, your hard drive needs to be replaced.

    Hi Damian,

    The console is not loading anything up because there is no information for the Xbox to load since you don't have a hard drive.

    What happened to your hard drive? I think to solve this issue you will need to connect a hard drive to your Xbox or even a USB storage device.
