Destiny Legendary Edition Xbox 360 - won't play due to file not downloading

Purchased the full version of Destiny The Taken King Legendary edition and Expansion I will not download. Game will not launch until all files are downloaded. Bungie forum has been no help. All the other files downloaded and installed properly, it's just
the one Expansion I file at 108KB that is not coming down, no matter how many times I try to redownload it. Xbox 360 drive is not full, nothing is corrupt, cache is clear. Any ideas?

Trouble downloading Destiny: Rise Of Iron, while owning Destiny: The Taken King on disc

I originally had bought Destiny: The Taken King Legendary edition when it released on Xbox 360. I then upgraded to Xbox One, and I bought a pre owned copy of Destiny: the taken King Legendary Edition. It did not come with a code. My original Xbox 360 copy
did, and i redeemed it then. I still am unable to buy the new expansion.

Same here can't download expansion 1 everything in the legendary edition downloads except expansion 1 on my Xbox 360 if anyone has found a fix please let me know I am downloading the compatibility packs for destiny as I type this message any information

Sorry to hear it. Are you connected via wireless or ethernet? If wireless can you try connecting via ethernet for the duration of the download?

 

Thanks onyx, I am hardwired and all the other files download with no problems - even the 6GB game comes down. The Expansion I is 108KB so it should take about a minute to download but sits at 0% then fails. Hard drive has 139GB free, cleared cache through
menu and by unplugging and letting it sit. Microsoft support tried to get me to download the individual Expansion I from the Xbox store but it was going to charge $19.99 so that didn't work so well.

 

Ok, can you head to Settings>System>Storage and see if there are any files with a yellow exclamation mark (!) beside it? If there are then please delete them and clear cache and restart the console again.

If that doesn't work you should contact Bungie support. A friend of mine had a similar issue with downloading Destiny and it took them to get it resolved.

Yea, no issues with the !'d files. Unfortunately customer service is not what it once was. I've posted on Bungie's forums and have not had any success, and their articles all lead you to dead ends. Thanks for your assistance, maybe I'll use their postal
address and send them a letter!
