I think it's the Mass Effect I've always wanted. I got so addicted to finding Engrams, I must have fought Sepkis Prime at least 6 times...

@Zen Steve The key word to take from that article is franchise. I would assume by franchise they mean multiple games, as a single game hardly would constitute one. Also, the

contract with Activision is for publishing and distribution rights.

I think your miss reading it, 22 STORY missions means several missions that make up a story, we only had one in the beta. Then dlc could easily add another planet or too.

...but we have yet to explore everything Old Russia has to offer, N7. I found numerous areas that were blocked off. I could stand next to a door and have the name of a new area pop up on screen that we couldn't get to. Even worse, the lousy door had windows,
so I could SEE it!

Another example is a Hive tunnel I discovered during a misson. In the mission, the tunnel came to a dead end. However, when I explored it outside of the mission, it led to a whole new area! If Bungie can do this, the options are virtually unlimited!

I agree GG. There is a ton of stuff in the beta that we couldn't access because area's were deliberately blocked. I think a lot of the worrying is over nothing.

Or moons. Terraforming confirmed, and there are more than 120 orbiting Saturn and Jupiter alone.

Exactly! If you think those 22 missions is all the game has to offer, then you're missing a huge chunk of what the game has to offer. That's like playing CoD's campaign, but never touching its fantastic multiplayer. This game is rife with secrets! Can you
discover them all?

I completed the bulk of the beta in under 3 hours yet still found myself going back for more, doing the little side missions in the explore area.

Its even got a couple of my friends back into playing XB1 so i'm happy

I have got to say it seems like Destiny is either really great or really meh to most people. I cant wait for Activision to release first day numbers for the game.

That's blatantly false. For example, I've been trying to get an uncommon hand cannon for 3 days via ingrams, drops, chests, & checking the shops - due to the random nature of the game, I nerver got it. You can complete the missions in that time (on 1 or
2 planets), sure, but not everything.

You also have to remember that these are huge places & I saw plenty of potential for new areas to open up within them. If you think you've explored all that Old Russia (by itself) has to offer, then you are sadly mistaken...
