Never experienced any network issues when travelling between areas myself, but then I was on Xbox Live.

He didn't the delay was network related - he's referring to the cut-scene that shows every time you go into "orbit" and choose a destination. It will get very frustrating over time - because it is too long, but at the same time it's probably good to get
a 30 second break every now and then.....otherwise we'd turn into zombies.

BTW: Yes I agree Titanfall is a gem - but that doesn't mean Destiny is rubbish....don't take it personally and don't laugh at someone else's opinion.

leaves you with lots of network connection errors especially if you travel frequently between the tower and earth it was just awful."
Seems pretty unambiguous to me, I do agree that the loading screens will be annoying I dont see why they dont have some different ones that rotate so you at least have something different to look at.

Ah man, I am so sorry, don't know how I missed that - my bad.

And yes I agree - the loading screens will get very dull very quickly. But it's a beta so - hopefully - his network issue will be resolved and maybe Bungie have more "loading bling" lined up for us. (One can but hope).

No worries, yes agreed, to be honest that was my only bug with the game, maybe they just put overly long loading screens to give us a nostalgic feel of overly long loading screens featuring the Normandy.

Taking into account it was only a Beta but not a total miss but more near miss than hit for me.

It reminded me so much of Halo and Borderlands mixed but not as good as either in my honest opinion. The missions felt very samey, I felt there was no real reward to go off exploring, don't get me wrong I'm not saying it was a bad game but like I said before,
I think it's been done better before.

Hopefully when the full game is released the feedback will tempt me to pick it up but it's definitely not a day one purchase from what I saw in the beta.

@Genchy - thanks and yes, you could be right!

BTW: While playing the beta I think I saw players could upgrade/buy better spaceships - anyone know how that is supposed to impact the game play? Or did I misunderstand what I saw in the beta? (Wouldn't be the first time!)....maybe it's just better "eye-candy"
while we watch the boring cut-scene?

I bought a new ship and sparrow...... Didn't notice any difference.

^^ I didn't buy any new ship but it really didn't seem to be necessary. Only time I seen them was on the loading screen. The Sparrows I hear get faster so in the full game they may be worth upgrading.

I was told once that you could explore the inside of your own ship. If true, that'd be kind of cool and make different ships worth buying.

titanfall a gem?? HAHAHA - best laugh i've had this week!

As for Destiny, personally i thought it was a fantastic BETA. I wasnt keen on the PvP aspects nor did i like the load times in travelling, but i can get over them.

My expectation wasn't high and i wasn't impressed at all (Most of Destiny has been known for months :gameplay,designs,....)....I already played it a decade ago but it was called PSU and was more original and fun....

It will be hit but without me.

@Xeno Im not exactly sure what Hellmouth is so no I didnt see it. What Im saying is if most of the in game missions are this short then its not really worth my money.

As far as judging the game off of the beta, how can I not? I played all of the missions multiple times and they are pretty meh. The MP is pretty terrible as well(my opinions) I dont forsee them changing the MP or having these awesome story missions.

How is it okay for anyone to praise the game and say "man the beta sold me on this game" yet when someone doesnt want to buy the game based off of the beta its an issue? Makes zero sense whatsoever.

As far as the game though, its not bad or terrible, its really solid for what it is. Even if it is nothing more than a Halo MMO with a mix of Mass Effect and a poor mans Borderlands. But from what I have played I really dont think I should be spending my
$60 for this game when I am going to play for 21 days and never touch it again. But thats just me, if you want to buy the game go ahead. I wont stop you or tell you how dumb you are, because what you think you will enjoy is different than what I will enjoy..
