Destiny general discussion 360/Xbox one

You pretty much summed it up there Genchy, it's satisfying to shoot things in Destiny, don't know why but it is. The only other game I feel that with is Fallout.

 

Not impressed with the DLC announcement..

Seems like a small amount of content for the price and paying the same amount for less content than the PS version is an extra kick in the stones.

To be fair, we always knew the Playstation was getting exclusive content, but this still feels like a bit of a p*sstake considering the price and amount of content

They shot themselves in the foot really, by announcing the extra strike as part of the DLC - if they just announced it separately as a standalone bonus strike as part of the PS exclusivity deal, they might have got away with it..

 

@Genchy yout otally hit the nail on the head there. The solid game mechanics make shopoting things in destiny just feel so good.

Tried the weekly heroic on lvl 28 solo last night. Made it to Nexus but he was just too tough bad thing for me now is both my exotics require me to play crucible and i really do not enjoy that part of the game.

 

I did the Nightfall last night with Dainja and a mate, and we stayed at the top and had one person shooting the Nexus and two on Minotaur crowd control when they spawned behind, worked a treat.

 

I'm still enjoying the game, even if it is a daily grind of doing exactly the same things, with perhaps some variety. Doing the raid tonight, fingers crossed I get something useful.

On another note, 2 weeks until AC: Unity, then I will be taking a break

 

Just did the same method for the weekly heroic that Genchy suggested for nightfall - it was blooming hard with two of us lol, one shooting the nexus and the other on minotaur's, might have at go at the nightfall over the weekend some time when we have 3
of us together.

 

^ remember to pack your void damage weapons for the minotaurs, in the words of Corporal Jones " they don't like it up em!"

 

The cryptarch is a super troll. All my legendary engrams have given me warlock gear. Have a titan class and hunter class, must be a sign to make a warlock alt.

Hope Xur has some good stuff tomorrow, RNGesus has been much nicer to me on XB1 and I can get an exotic weapon/piece of armor and an engram(which will turn into something for the warlock class).

 

Why is the cryptarch NOT identifying the engrams???

 

He will only identify them when the new dlc drops. They are new kit.
