    Destiny game and 32gb flash drive


    Hello! I have a xbox 360E console. It's 4gb and DS got Destiny for Christmas, so we need to upgrade. Since I'm not even sure he will like the game I'm having a hard time justifying spending another $100 for a Hard Drive. Has anyone tried formatting a 32gb
    flash drive to run the Destiny game?

    Hi, looking at the games description on the marketplace it states " (NOTE: Xbox 360 Hard Drive is required. USB Storage is not supported.) "

    It's a good idea to buy a hard drive if you can as more and more games require a hard drive these days.

    Just to add to Juan's post, you'll be better off spending the money and investing in an official Microsoft hard drive instead of getting a third party knock-off cheaper. If you don't get the official drives, you won't be able to run original Xbox games which
    are backwards compatible supported.

    I Can't believe !

    A good cheap alternative to buying a HDD is to buy a USB flash drive. The 360 supports up to a 32GB flash drive. The only drawback is some games(Battlefield 4 most notably) do not support installs to flash drives.

    You can use a flash drive as your harddrive. You can download a game to your flash drive and play off it. I would recommend you get a 32gb flash drive (biggest xbox can use/convert)
