destiny freezes on install

Alright Folks see if anyone can help me out on this..

xbox 360 with 125 Gb free on the Hard drive

the initial patch and files downloaded. then the last file says (it may take a while)

get anywhere from nothing to 5% and then it freezes up my box. no error messages nothing.

I have cleared the Cache etc even cleared more space on the HD since I knew total install would end up at about 20+Gb.

even waited till midnight to try again still no go.

i cant download destiny because it says my device is full yet it has 8 gb free of storage and destiny is 6.75 gb. i also spent 45 dollars on this so thats 45 dollars frickin wasted.

Because destiny requires 20gigs on top of that to install

8gigs is just the download size not the install size

 

Destiny Freezing on Download Screen

Hello everyone. I purchased Destiny and tried to install it today. Unfortunately, the 360 went into sleep mode towards the end of the installation and we had to restart the game. Every time we restart the game, however, Destiny reaches the installing screen
and then freezes. Sometimes it brings up an Xbox Menu, like the ones that appear when there is an update to a game. It never displays anything before freezing again. One time it proceeded past the install screen, told us that we'd have to reinstall it, and
then sat on Destiny's Signing In screen doing nothing.

Is this something wrong with the game, does it normally take this long for Destiny to load? We were waiting ~10 minutes on each screen before the next one appeared. If we have to uninstall all our progress on Destiny, how do we do so?

 

@ Grey1wa, hey buddy, completely delete the game [folder] if you have download the add-on pack move it too your Cloud Storage... clear cache / turn off your 360 / re-boot console / consider using a wired connection to your 360 if not [or can't] make sure
no other devices are using your BB / install game / let it update [depending on your speed abt 10 mins on average] total file size is around 6GB.

I have tried clearing the cache and I am using a wired connection (wireless is only for mobile devices on my network) I will try deleting the folder. it gets the update pack then trys to download something else and freezes at that point. I have also opened
the ports that the game says it requires to operate

 

I have had a problem where it freezes after ten minutes of the first install. I have tried clearing my cache but it did not make a difference. WHAT CAN I DO!!!

 

I have the same problem. Very frustrating. Got a new hard drive just to make sure that it's good. It is giving me an error code: boar

 

I have also had this issue. 1.98 GB in progress (this may take a while)

Is has been taking three days. Each day it has lasted over 4 hours till I get tired of nothing happening and I stop it. I went to look through some of the system, storage, harddrive,games and apps, Destiny files, and it says ( Destiny Compatibility pack
07 corrupt and yellow). Do you all have this also?

And....

For some reason it will not download or install, (DESTINY EXPANSION 1) under downloaded Items.

It doesn't give any errors just says unable to install an skips over it.

 

I have also done all the required actions requested above. But come on now, I have never had any issues or special actions to do with any other game or app before. I am starting to look for refund information so I can just download the other version instead
of the collectors edition. I just really like this game and the extras it came with. Then only ten dollars more for this addition, it was a no brainer...but if they can't fix this issue soon. I am asking for a refund.

 

We've tried this several times, too. The 2GB patch from xbox just doesn't seem to work.
