    Destiny free download to Xbox One question


    I downloaded Destiny on my 360 when it first came out, because I knew about the deal for the Xbox One, I also know that it only lasts until January 15th. I might not be able to get an Xbox One by that time (buying a house is more important right now), and
    I don't want to buy the game all over again when I do happen to get one. A couple of Xbox friends told me that if I knew someone with an Xbox One, I could sign in with my GT and download it to their Xbox One, and then move it over when I get an Xbox One myself.
    My question is if this is true or not. Problem is that my friend already downloaded Destiny to his Xbox One under his profile, so can I download it again under my profile? I don't know how downloads work on Xbox One.

    I cant upgrade my Destiny for 360 to One. I bought the retail version of Destiny for 360 and the digital Expansion Pass. Now on my new XBox One, I cant download Destiny for One for free. Can anybody help me? The Store only allows me to download Destiny for

    Yes it should do, everything destiny in digital form should free to download on the Xbox One.

    for Xbox One for free if you digitally purchased the version on Xbox 360. However, it is decided by publishers whether to offer something like this so it will vary between games.
