Destiny for XB1 & 360

Anyone else think it was stupid that after the game comes out, they offered the 360 version, with the xbox one for free? They should have offered that beforehand with a preorder bonus instead of the other way around. It's unfair that now, if I wanted to
play with friends on both consoles, I'd have to buy it twice. This is why people are getting mad with xbox, and it's products.

I'm seriously mad about it because I could be playing both instead of just one, and if I wanted to be on the 360 with other friends, they're all on Destiny.

"Destiny" worth buying for 360?

So I've seen the comparisons on youtube between 360 and XB1 for Destiny.

Doesn't seem like a huge difference other than the amount of saturation.

I don't have an XB1, but I really want to play Destiny.

So I have a big question for everyone...

Should I wait and buy the XB1 for a better experience? or... just go ahead and purchase for 360?

They offered it BEFORE the release, they announced it on the 5th. How is this about the MS at all?

 

They didn't offer a pre-order digital version on the 360 which is what people are upset about. The other guys did. If you waited to buy the 360 version on release day you would have lost out on the One pre-order bonuses.

I had hoped I would be able to download the 360 version for free when it was added but no such luck.

I agree with Tragic, MS dropped the ball on this one.

I dont think it was stupid, because im not going to be going back to a 360 to play this game. how can you say they dropped the ball, just because you couldnt pre order the digital version of the 360 thats just crazy...

I have numerous friends that don't own a One so it would have given me the option to play with them on the 360. If that wasn't the case then I agree the 360 version wouldn't have been a big deal.

I think you guys are missing the point...if I had purchased the PS3 version I could have pre-ordered the digital version and received the PS4 version for free....all pre-order bonuses included. MS chose not offer the same deal when it was obviously their
call not Bungie's.

I'm not that impressed with the game so I won't lose any sleep over it but it has to make you wonder who's making these calls at MS, sometimes it seems like they are trying to send business to the other guy.

 

Sony paid for extras so maybe that was one of them.

 

What Dirt says might be true since sony was trying to have everything exclusive to it...

Randver I to have friends that only have this on the 360 because of not owning Ones, however with there being no cross game transfer, like your character level to me its not worth playing the two of them, since you wouldnt be able to use your character back

how does this On Demand purchase work? I'm thinking about paying the 60.00 for the 360Version and getting the Xbox One Version for free How does t work though ($60.00 is a bit high for a On demand title IMO but two for one is a great Price! Plus my XboxOne
