DESTINY FOR 360 UNREADABLE ERROR ( ONLY DESTINY DOES'NT WORK FOR THE CONSOLE)

ok so before i start this (THE GAME IT SELF IS BRAND NEW) I cleaned the disc even though it is brand new and this problem still occurs

(FOR THE IDIOTS WHO CONTINUE TO COMMENT DOWNLOAD TO HARDDRIVE) i would down load it to the hard drive but i can not get it to say destiny instead of play game

October 19th 2014 i bought a copy of Destiny for 360. The first time i put the disc in it wouldn't work at all. I had to keep opening/closing my disc tray or turning my console on and off in order to get the game to work. one day out of like the 2 weeks i had
the game i decided to take a break. i came back to destiny like 3 weeks later and it wouldn't work no matter how hard i tried to get it to work. so i just thought since its been some time its probably just the disc. So i bought a completely new disc from gamestop
after i moved. the game still doesn't work. I have multiple games (INCLUDING MY COPY OF AW THAT HAS THE CIRCLE SCRATCH FROM WHEN I KNOCKED OVER MY XBOX AND THAT STILL WORKS BETTER THAN THE BRAND NEW DESTINY COPY) that all work completely fine but destiny doesn't
work at all first time i called in to xbox they told me its bungie's manufacturing of the game so they couldn't help me at all i'd have to go and talk to bungie about it. So i did and they said the discs that microsoft makes has nothing to do with the game
it self. The next time i called xbox they said that its because of my storage id understand that if i was getting a error code like the ones destiny has on the site but i'm only getting an unreadable error (green box that says play game) i can not get into
the game to even download destiny so i can't delete it from my hard drive. I've already cleared the system cache 5 times (on each of the 3 memory units i own) i have over 30 gb of space to download the "updates" it supposed to have. i see other people who
have the same issue and either their posts are closed or they got it resolved through deleting the cache only to have the same issue happen again.

SIDE NOTE: I was able to get into the game once last month but the download kept going back to 0% and then i had to open the disc tray and it went back to this problem.

Destiny Next-Gen Upgrade isnt working

I cant upgrade my Destiny for 360 to One. I bought the retail version of Destiny for 360 and the digital Expansion Pass. Now on my new XBox One, I cant download Destiny for One for free. Can anybody help me? The Store only allows me to download Destiny for
69,99€.

I downloaded Destiny with no problems. Error occurs as soon as I start the game. "Problem reading game content. Please close and restart Destiny to try again. " After I click OK, the unreadable disc error pops up (Even though this is a digital version of
Destiny). I've downloaded many games on demand with no problems so it can't be a hard drive issue. I tried clearing the cache but no solution. I tried deleting Destiny and re-downloading but still no solution.

Help please!

 

Sorry to hear it. How old is your console? I have a suspicion that this is the beginning of disc read errors for the console. This happens when the console gets older or, as you mentioned above, if the console is knocked over. The lens can become loose
and doesn't read as well.

There are a few options you can do here.

1. Repair/replace the unit

2. Continue playing your other games until the unit dies

3. Borrow a copy of Destiny from a friend (alternately, if they have a digital version have them download it) then you could try just loading the game up with the disc in the tray (hopefully that would work)

4. Purchase a digital version of the game that would install directly to your drive negating the need for a disc.
