Destiny - "Evaluating Guardians" Never connects

I am having an issue with Destiny. It plays just fine but will not connect to other users nor are there any other players in the "open world". It worked on the first night I played it but will not work now. I noticed it once I reached level 5 and attempted
to join the Crucible. It sat at the "Evaluating Guardians" for 10 minutes. I have since tried it 5 times to no avail. Missions that require a fire team will not commence either as no one can be located for a fire team.

Its basically GAME without the purple crap everywhere.

 

In saying "It worked the first night" I mean the first night I played for an hour and there were other players in the open world. Has not been that way any time since.

Same here. Tried crucible for first time last night. Still not working today.

 

anyone had success? this is my exact problem. have tried connecting to crucible several times, just stays stuck evaluating/searching

Please help... a week and still this same exact problem.

I have Open NAT, All ports forwarded. Can play with friends. Just no public in tower or games.
