Destiny DLC not downloading

So on 12 December I purchased the Destiny DLC Expansion pack ! for the Xbox 360.

I already had purchased Destiny and the packs on the xbox one (not knowing you could get a free upgrade if you bought the 360 version) as a digital download.

As half my mates still have a 360 I then purchased the 360 version as a disk based game and naturally purchased the content when it came out.

The DLC works fine on the Xbox One but refuses to download now on the 360.

There are lots of people affected and Bungie believe the problem is solved though there is now some messaging that it's a problem with the providers of the downloads eg Sony and Microsoft.

I've tried all the Bungie forum suggestions - clearing caches, downloading from history etc but still no luck. There's a few other disgruntled NZer's as well on the Bungie forums.

We really would like a solution to this problem. There is some suggestion by some Sony users that they have been able to resolve by re-purchasing the content but that involves a refund and a wait for three days, then a repurchase.

Rise of Iron DLC Issue

Is any one having issues downloading rise of iron for destiny as a stand alone dlc , It only shows up in the bundle

if the game ask this when starting destiny up, there might be something wrong with the installation of the game. I would suggest re downloading the and the dlc.

Not the answer, but I too have the similar issue of unable to download on xbox 360. I am also one of the disgruntled NZer's.

I did ring on the weekend but the message said unless you are a retailer there's no-one there and to request on-line help. I assume they are open during the week then - information that's not in the messaging.

 

I'm not sure what time you called but here's their hours of operation

9.00am to 9.00pm - Monday to Friday

9.00am to 5.00pm - Saturday and Sunday

That should be for anyone.

 

So rung Xbox helpdesk. They checked I had purchased DLC for 360. Showed I had but that license hadn't activated.

Said isn't a problem at that end and game me Activision NZ's 0800 160 110 to ring.

Rang this. Gives you a Destiny help press 7 option.

Used this option which told me to use he online support at Bungie and then hangs up.

Been doing that since the 9th December.

Rang 0800 again and spoke to support person who said Bungie had decided to manage all support for Destiny and Activision had neither received any training nor could provide any support for Destiny.

Only recourse is to go back to Bungie. They will contact Microsoft help and ask them not to give out the Activision number.

And so the Halo is complete............a perfect circle.

Alright, if they said that it was a license issue you'll need to try and get hold of Bungie. I had a friend in the UK who was having the same issue all last week. Finally he contacted them on Sunday (again) and finally someone there released the license
for his tag.

Keep on top of Bungie guys. Ultimately they're the ones who can fix this issue.

 

Well, wonders or wonders. After reading your posts here, logged onto my xbox360 and re attempted downloading of expansion 1, finally worked.

Now for some down time on life and onto Destiny.
