Destiny digital guardian edition pre-order

I'm sorry if this has been discussed before, but i was curious why those of us on the east coast have to wait until 3:01 am to play it. Those who pre-ordered it at Gamestop can do the midnight release, go home, install and play it well before we get it.
Just because MS (and activision, and bungie are to i'm assuming) are west coast shouldn't matter(if it does at all). It's still going to be september 9th. It's not a game breaker, but i'm just curious. If it's so everyone can get it at the same time, what
about the midnight releases. Just curious. Thanks.

Destiny Digital Guardian Edition: Do we get it?

Will the Xbox One get pre-order digital download early enough to enjoy pre-loading the Destiny Digital Guardian Edition or Does the One even get that edition? Wish I could be a part of the beta, but I am going digital on this one.

 

Destiny, disc Pre-Ordered no Pre-Download

I canceled my pre-order at Gamestop last week and this morning when I got up I pre-ordered and pre-downloaded the Destiny Digital Guardian Edition right from the Xbox Store.

 

The official release of the digital copy is done by one time zone only which is 12:01 PDT (Pacific Daylight Time). All digital downloads will be linked to that time zone which is the zone where Microsoft's offices are.

 

I wanna know if I can by the digital edition at game stop cause I want the red sparrow.and predownlode the game.or do I have to buy the digital edition on the Xbox store to predownlode.please let me know

 

If you want to predownload then you'll need to pre-order the digital version. If you want the red sparrow then you'll need to pre-order from Gamestop.

 

So even if I buy the digital version from gamestop I won't be able to oredownlode? I'm gonna have to buy it from Xbox store to predownlode?

link for the digital download for Gamestop will be available at 9 am CST (Central Standard Time) on September 9 which, if the conversion website I used is correct, would be 7 am PDT.

 

Basically, if you want to play at or around midnight, you have to stand in line at gamestop. Personally, i don't think thats right, but hey, it's Microsoft. What can you do? Their word is law.

 

I'm gonna sk gamestop if they give the digital code out alredy to preload it.
